Lago Mar Park — Attraction in Florida

Lago Mar Park is a family-friendly community park with so much to offer. There are basketball, and volleyball courts. There are walkways for walking, jogging, or even bike riding. Great for getting a good workout or much needed de-stressing after a long day at work! There’s a fitness section, pavilions, playground, and a picnic area for your use. 😃

There is a large area for dogs to play, run and burn off energy. There’s also water available in the dog play areas for dogs to quench their thirst. 🐶 These guys thought of everything when building this park! 😃 Please clean up after your pets, you may dispose of in garbage cans throughout the park. Thank you! 🙏

This is a great park to spend time with your family and friends. Great for a date night! 😍

Keep in mind the park is small, so it doesn’t have bathrooms. Please help keep the park clean and throw the trash in the garbage cans....

Awful dog park. My dog escaped through under the fence at the dog park and tore up someone’s basketball. If my dog was to have bit someone, that would not have been my problem. The city needs to do a better job at keeping up with the parks. Maintenance needs to be a TOP priority because this is ridiculous.

Few months ago I was walking another one of my dogs here and there were 3 German shepherds in that park and one of them almost escaped under the same fence, stuck his entire head and neck under the fence and almost bit my dog. Horrible job on the city’s part. I’m never bringing my dogs here again, despite mentioning the park is FULL of dog feces that nobody picks up, and is packed with gnats that bother you from the minute you enter the park....

Been coming to this park for years now and i love it. The playground is nice, lots of land to have a picnic in, volleyball net with sand, basketball courts and a dog park. There is also a hidden perk, there is a wild bunny at the park that comes out if you bring it food to eat. The only reason i can’t give this park a 5 is because it does not have lights and I think all parks should have lights at night bright enough to run in piece and still play basketball or something because not everyone can enjoy the park during the day time and plus the courts have no shade as well as the park in general.
