This small park is located in Matlacha right off Pine Island Road. Travelling West look for the park sign and turn left right before Blue Dog Bar and Grill. One of the highlights of this park is water access along three sides. There is a small dock and kayak/canoe launch on the East side. The South side features a popular fishing pier (with cleaning station), as well as, numerous picnic shelters with lovely water views. The West side has a public motorized boat launch. The cost for boat launch and trailer parking is $10, which you pay at the launch.Parking is featured along the perimeter with a grassy area in the center. This is where you’ll find a children’s playground (featuring a pirate ship with sea monster slides) and basketball courts. There is a walking path and one fitness station around this area, however, most of it remains...

I was all alone without getting tangled by other fishermen, and I bet I caught tons more fish too... Matlacha, it's a beautiful place, you should...
