Great Licks Ice Cream Shop / CW Fudge Factory — Restaurant in Florida

The location and shop itself is cute. The ice cream is also very tasty. However, the attitudes and customer service lacks tremendously. Both employees were rude to our group. They also lacked common courtesy in greeting their customers and taking orders. I’m not sure if it was an owner or manager, but everyone in our group was wearing a mask upon waiting in line, social distancing properly including when entering the shop to place orders. It was only our group and the employees behind the counter inside. We all abide by all Covid safety measures, always. I was rudely told to put my mask back on when taking a bite of my ice cream. I was more then 6 ft away from everyone (employees and our group). I politely commented confused, that I was eating my ice cream. The lady again, rudely said “ put your masks on, you can wait, or go outside.” I was simply waiting for my fiancé and his family to finish their orders. We take COVID safety very seriously and to be talked to so rudely and with such a poor attitude, I don’t care how cute or how good your ice cream is. I will never return or recommend this place. I’ve worked in customer service for over 17 years. I’m in sales and CS to this day, and I would never imagine speaking to my customers or clients in that manner. I was walking to the store after dinner at the blue dog hoping to just catch it before closing around 8:50. My sister and myself went to the walk up counter and waited behind a couple who had walked up right before us. The cashier rudely tells us that they were the last customer though we had seen them just walk up. My sister tells her it’s a few minutes before closing to which she rolls her eyes at us and says fine as she walks away. We then told her we’d give a big tip trying to make her laugh when she responds “ it’s not about the tip” and walks away. By then we are bewildered by how awful she was when all we asked was for a few minutes to buy ice cream before they close. Really ruined the night for us all. I really hope that you are able to identify this ice cream scooper from hell and give her a talking to. Definitely will reconsider where I spend my money. If I could give a worse...

It's the only ice cream place around here. The ice cream is homemade and pretty good. But here's the experience. Judge for yourself. Four of us cone to have ice cream and maybe bring some home. One of us is diabetic and needed to take his pills. Asking for a small cup of water, the woman replied, " well, we have bottled water over there, you can just by one". If she hadn't said it with the attitude, it would have been ok. So three had ice cream while one walked to the fudge shop down the road where the employee offered a Free Bottle of water!
