Pelican Island Audubon Society — Attraction in Florida

A very successful and knowledgeable organization that has placed into action ways to protect the environment for people, birds, air quality....'Nature" . Their mission includes ways to preserve and protect the animals, plants, and natural communities and the land and water on which they depend on in Indian River county. Much of this includes public awareness, also. The work can be multiple items with leaders and a team that juggle it all. It just depends on the day. Audubon Society provides educational fun activities for children, volunteers and members. Members may enjoy trips, volunteering and monthly speakers.
