Follow regarding my first review. It is only right I apologize to the owner Dianna. My frustrations was with her staff, I responded emotionally without allowing her to address my concerns. When I tell you Dianna is phenomenal beyond words it was an unbelievable experience as if you were at Chick Fillet. Her passion for her clients, future clients will blow you out the water. Dianna acknowledged my concerns, was accountable but when a step further to help me understand why her staff appeared to be my view point verus what had actually occurred while still acknowledging my points regarding how the conversation made me feel. We as human being are guilty of everyday life pressures and it can give us false perceptions of what really occurred, my best advice is before your submit a review give the owner the complete opportunity to redeem your experience with a staff member verson impulsively like I did putting them on blast. Dianna went above, beyond for me as a consumer to make sure she educated me on LLR, their requirements while explaining her credentials for her spa and provide education on how to protect myself from spa that are not in compliance with health regulation or cdc requirements ect. Then she went into explaining her background, why she started the spa. Her sister was her inspiration, but I will let her share her story of why with you if you run into her at her spa. This woman is tactful, loving, and respectful. Her soul exceeds day to day interactions, I want to apologize for my review because it does not reflect what she or her business stand for. Let me know forget to mention this woman is smart, super business savy and transparent if your a competitor and want to know things but she will have more respect if you are upfront with why your calling the spa. That note is more so for other salons wanting to compete which Dianna fully welcomes because it keeps her sharp. I had a beautiful experience with her, my best friend will spend time this weekend at the spa. My recommendation is that your try her spa out, because the energy over the phone was amazing and I am looking forward to exceptional experience she insures all her clients receive. I will give you another review update, be transparent with visit. In the meantime be...
Read moreUPDATE: The owner of the spa reached out to me and appreciated the feedback. The integrated massage does use various pressures and itâs left up to the masseuse to determine what the client needs at the time of the massage. I did recommend that they update their website to add some of this clarification as I wasnât aware of this by reading the website. She was very kind and offered me a free massage upon my return. I will certainly be visiting them again.
My first experience at Soak wasnât bad, but it wasnât great. My facial was wonderful (thank you Hannah!) the room was nice, bed was warm and Hannah kindly provided me with a robe so I could use the restroom before my facial without have to get fully dressed. I stated on my pre-appointment sheet that I prefer medium pressure for a massage. When the gentleman masseuse started, he was frequently using hard pressure and I made a few comments when it was too rough or moved my body to stop the pressure. He apologized and kept working. I also made sure to tell him that I preferred medium pressure. He would go back and forth between the two, but it was certainly deeper than I liked. What also bothered me was that his elbow hit my head 4 different times (not lightly either) during the 50min session and he never once apologized. He also only focused on my back and shoulders and some arms. I had the integrated massage, so I honestly donât know if thatâs standard, but I'm used to ones that hit the full body. So that was disappointing. Unfortunately this wasnât the massage experience I was hoping for and sadly he seems to have pinched something in my left hand so I canât squeeze anything right now with it and my back is very very sore. Iâve never had a deep tissue massage, but that seems more like what this was vs a normal massage. The website says nothing about the intensity of this type of massage either, so I assumed it would be a normal massage. Other than my massage, the rest of the experience was pleasant and the...
Read moreI booked a Brandies pear scrub with mighty tight body wrap, 120 minutes for $220.50. My appointment was at 1pm. I got there at 12:55. I was called back at 1:15. I was lying in the bed waiting to start at 1:18. Services finished at 2:37 PM. Total of about 77 minutes which at least 7-10 of those minutes were me waiting for the tech to return to resume the services after undressing and showers. The music is played from Bluetooth on techs personal phone and was not working half the time. Could not fully relax due to multiple conversations clearly heard through a sliding door. Speaking of the sliding door could not feel completely comfortable knowing that at any point anyone could intentionally or accidentally walk in on you when youâre completely undressed. At one point, the door was accidentally left cracked open. Speaking of being completely undressed, the room got very cold for about 15 minutes which made the experience even more uncomfortable, and not relaxing at all. Needless to say, I did not enjoy the services provided today. The lady who performed the services was extremely sweet and kind and was trying her best but when you pay that much money for services, the expectations are extremely high. This was my first experience at this spa. And for full transparency, they took off $40. Therefore total for about 65 minutes of service was $190. I personally would not recommend but based on the reviews, someone gets great...
