We had an amazing experience here! There is so much history and so many different things to do here. There is a huge room for kids play. They had things like balls that you could roll down different tracks and making your own roller coasters. They had a section for you to be your own news reporter, make a lightning storm, touch a cloud and find anywhere in the world using Google maps. My kids ages 2 and 10 as well as myself had a great time. They do have a cafe that you can order food from and eat outside at their picnic tables either in the shade or in the sun. Our favorite thing there were the whisper dishes that were found outside by the fish pond. Make sure you visit after you feed the fish in the turtles whisper through the ring and the sound will bounce off of the big satellite dishes behind it, it was super cool to play phone tag through them. They have a large theater that shows 3D movies, we were able to see two different movies the day we were there, and recommend titanosaur, both were absolutely great. They had a large section that showed the Old Town Fort Myers, it was cool to see the replicas and the history of the town. There was a large Sputnik room that gave history and also upon walking up to the building there is a 911 memorial that has a timeline of events. It was cool to walk with the kids and tell them what I remembered from that day. There is also a gift shop at the front of the store, of course you have to walk through it to buy your tickets and for entry! LOL. We recommend the hurricane simulator!!! All in all a great place to spend a day with the family.

We visited on April 18th, 2024. (I'm just bad about writing reviews on time) This was honestly a wonderful little science center! We have one back where we're originally from that has somewhat closed down so it was really neat to take mine and my boyfriend's kids here! It was very empty. We saw some school groups leaving while there. Not many people visit I'm guessing. It's actually a nice hidden gem. It's a little outdated, but I imagine it's due to not having the funding to keep up the center. They had a little sting ray petting area, they had dino fossils, history of Florida and the Everglades, the way water moves by using it as a power, space and a giant display of a moon you can touch and change. it was pretty much everything you'd want out of the visit! I would absolutely visit again! Even if it's not changed much from our last visit, I would go to support their center! I would recommend it for a fun little day out for a kid. Our son was 2 and he loved seeing the science part of it all! Maybe with more revenue, they'll be able to do some renovations to it. But otherwise, it is a nice place to visit!

This history and science center offers a variety of science experiences and a great look at Florida history of the Seminole Indians. Some of the exhibits are not working, including one of the Virtual Reality headsets. I enjoyed the sting ray tank, that was not crowded. The tortoises are awesome to see up close, with tortoises from North Africa and South America. The outdoor exhibits highlight the Okefenokee Swamp and Florida flora. Prior to the entry, prior to paying, the tribute to the 911 event at the World Trade Center in NYC includes a huge chunk of the original World Trade Center is worth a visit. Picnic tables available. The cafe is not open at this time. Reasonably priced gift shop items that are all fun science toys and stuffed animals. The price is slightly high considering that several exhibits are not working.Annual memberships available. Wheel chair access van free parking. Touch pad accessible entry. All wheel chair access on lower level. Strollers and wheel chairs available during your visit. Wheel chair accessible womens and mens restrooms with hands free hand wash.

Free parking. Wheelchair accessible. They have a very small luncheon station where you can buy, fries, sandwiches, popcorn pop etc. Outside they have a memorial for 9/11. As you enter the building there is a shop for merchandise and novelty items. Also on the main level is pool with Ray Sharks that you can pet and live presentations throughout the day. There is a tribute to the World Wars and Naples contribution, along with the First Nations Indigenous Peoples. Outdoors they have a theatre that plays movies every 40 minutes. Outdoors they also have turtles. Stairs will take you to the upper level which is dedicated to Space and a short live presentation. Some of the interactive games and modules were not working. The place looked slightly run town. Staff seems uninterested in their jobs. Food was mediocre. In the theatre they provided 3D glasses and a disinfectant for patrons to reuse/ re-wear. I thought this was extremely unhygienic. Overall I wish there was more to see at the centre.
