Workout Anytime Fort Walton Beach — Attraction in Fort Walton Beach

Great place to workout. Friendly staff. The reason i don't give it 5 stars, is because when it opened it was awesome, but the upkeep of gym equipment isn't great. Stuff is starting to break or wear and it doesn't get fixed or replaced which is really annoying in a nice gym.

UPDATE: I posted the above review and got a response from management saying they would work to repair the situation, yet it has continued to get worse. More broken equipment that is not being repaired. For the amount of people with memberships here, I would imagine that a repairman would be affordable. It's really not that hard to repair or maintain the equipment, especially the equipment that is broken. Replacing cables or seat cushions, using some loctite and tightening screws isn't that difficult. It just keeps getting more disappointing to work out there. As it continues I'll just keep taking off stars, hopefully others will follow suit until management does something to remedy the situation.

UPDATE #2: It's been 7 months since management responded saying that they would fix stuff around here. It's getting continuously worse. I posted some pics of broken stuff. For what we pay to use this gym and for the amount of people who have memberships, it is absolutely unacceptable to have this broken equipment for this amount of time with no resolution. I've got friends that have discontinued their membership here due to nothing getting fixed. The staff below the manager try their best but without a present manager, they're at a loss. At least make one of them the actual manager since he's never here. I've taken it down to 1 star in hopes that maybe something will get...

I joined this gym when it was brand new. It was CLEAN and the equipment was new and in great shape. Lately however we have noticed the cleanliness of the gym has slipped significantly. The equipment is not being maintained properly and most of the handles and ropes used on the pulley machines are dirty, ragged and stored on the floor with people walking all over them. In the COVID 19 age this is really not acceptable. Again - cleanliness has slipped. The Roman chair has been in disrepair for months. The floors need to be cleaned. The table that use to be out front is now behind the service counter and there is no table for the MEMBERS to use. This is exactly the downward spiral that allowed Workout Anytime to put other Gyms out of business. We like the location but wish the owners and manager would get the place back in shape. We have talked to the staff at the front desk but are told there is nothing they can do except report it to management. Maybe the owner will see this and help get the place cleaned up and back in tip...

As a figure competitor, active duty military and a single mom, it is very important for me to have a facility that is accessible for my schedule as well have the best most diverse equipment in order for me to train specific areas for my prep. This facilty has met my needs and more. For 25 dollars a month you definitely get your monies worth with not only 24/7 access to not only your primary location but all locations with tanning and hydro massage included and bring a guest to motivate killin that crazy workout you had planned all day... Who can beat that???!!! On top of that, all the gyms are in convenient locations... No matter what time in the day i feel safe in the facility... The facility stays clean all day and the bathroom and showers are always good to go which is a hugeeee plus in my book... Also the staff i kno are very friendly and welcoming and will cater to your needs whenever you need it... I have a FREE gym on the base but i CHOOSE to pay to come here... That should mean...
