I recently had the pleasure of dining at Thai Ramen on Eglin Parkway, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! This gem in Fort Walton Beach has easily become my new favorite spot for Thai cuisine.
The highlight of my visit was the Tom Ka soup. It was simply divine! The broth was a perfect balance of creamy coconut milk and tangy lime, infused with the aromatic flavors of lemongrass and galangal. Each spoonful was a delightful burst of flavor, with tender tofu pieces and fresh mushrooms adding to the overall richness of the dish. It was comforting, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying – a true testament to the chef’s skill.
The service was equally impressive. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring that my dining experience was flawless. They were quick to refill drinks, check on our table, and accommodate any special requests with a friendly demeanor.
The ambiance of Thai Ramen is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect place for both casual meals and special occasions. The decor is modern yet has an authentic Thai touch, adding to the overall charm of the restaurant.
In addition to the Tom Ka, I also tried their signature ramen, which was a fantastic blend of flavors. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the broth was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice.
Overall, Thai Ramen on Eglin Parkway is a culinary treasure in Fort Walton Beach. Whether you’re a fan of traditional Thai dishes or looking to try something new, this restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with top-notch service and mouthwatering food. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area – you won’t be...
Read moreMe and the wife used to love going to Thai Ramen but to our surprise this day, she spotted something inside the ramen. It was a piece/strain of metallic sponge! My wife later mentioned that her stomach started hurting. I ate from it too so it’s possible I ate some metallic pieces? I don’t know for sure but if I get sick, I’ll have to get a full investigation going on. My coworker warned me that it had happened to her as well but I didn’t listen. Her situation was finding a piece of sponge in her ramen. So now there is a history of this happening. Imagine all the other customers eating these pieces of sponge without even realizing!? Management should have changed how they clean their supplies instead of being thrifty and using the same products that cause this issue. When I brought up the fact that we can get sick from ingesting the piece of metal to the server, she said “ it will be fine. Nothing will happen.” How does she know ?! Is she a doctor and is it based on experience ?! The only thing good was that the guy managing came by to apologize to us sincerely and that they waived the lunch price. But that still won’t make up for any possible health issues if we did in fact eat metallic sponge pieces . I’ll have to warn my coworkers about our...
Read moreMUST READ!! Food was good, our waitress was super sweet, but what happened after we ate is the reason I am never coming back here again. I was with a party of 4, our bill was a little over $100 so of course it was only right we tipped the waitress for her service. My older sister paid for the tab while the rest of us wanted to put a nice tip together (originally $35). We felt good and generous as we are returning home from a weekend at Destin! I gave the money to my other half (that needed to use the restroom before leaving) so we all went to the car to wait. The cashier comes out not too long after we do and starts HARASSING us in the parking lot for her waitress’s tip. My other half then walks out confused and instead of tipping the $35, i took it back and gave $20 for tip instead. (Yes $20 is still too much but I was really about to drive away leaving no tip at all at this point.) I recommend the food maybe for takeout, but the same lady might cuss you out for a tip as well. NEVER...
