A nice, mellow experience. While being no regular and unsure of what are temporary exhibitions and what are more museum mainstay galleries, it was all enjoyable to stroll through and give a good study. Some galleries had a theme, a style, a medium, or at the very least, an artist's name to tie them together, while the densely populated gardeschool artists' wing was absolute chaos across any of those categories. There are many talented artists of all ages with their work proudly displayed here, and you should go to see it. Even if you don't have a spare $3000 for the beautiful oil paintings in their gift shop, the ticket fee is a low, low price for any inspiration you may glean from seeing the products of...

Read moreMy muralist art grandson and I attended the second Thursday open house at the Fort Wayne museum of art. The event had a great attendance, they served tasty treats and drinks were available. And oh! The art! And the glass! I had such a wonderful time and since I no longer live in the city I was unaware of this wonderful opportunity that the folks in Fort Wayne have to go to the museum at no charge once a month and partake of the beauty of these pieces and just decompress a little.
