What a wonderful find! We wandered a bit after a conference at the Grand Convention Center finished on a Saturday. We had the evening to find something new, and we found just the thing! The films were not ones advertised on Netflix or Prime, and the center has an artsy feel and vibe. We were greeted with enthusiasm and allowed to purchase wine and very good beer while waiting for the curtain. We waited in a space where film makers can showcase their work to a small audience. Read moreI was so excited that a theater nearby was playing The Lighthouse. Unfortunately, throughout the movie the audio kept going in and out, as though the speaker system was having an issue. At first I thought it was an effect in the film, but upon talking to others who had seen it elsewhere I learned that I was the only one who had this experience. Had I known this while I was at the Cinema Center, I would have asked for a refund. I love the idea of a local, arthouse theater - but I’m not sure I’ll be going back if it means continued...
