Alternate Arms Arena — Attraction in Fort Worth

Referees were nice and rentals were pretty good. Shout out to the ref that ran a small game for our group. Overall good experience but

Gotta comment on a few things that rubbed wrong way:

Chronograph policys seemed to not be enforced well. Could tell that several of the players were shooting over fps limit. They had to call over all of the HPA players between a game and you could see them scrambling to turn down their gas for when they finally decided to chrono some people. Some players seemed to know staff very well, so concern with enforcement there. Some of the welts I went home with were definitely from some very “hot” guns.

Layout of the field is kind of a mess and felt very imbalanced when you played from the close to lobby spawn. The maze area had some weird pointless dead ends that didn’t mesh well with the spawn layout and where objectives were placed.

Overall would come back and play as the staff was doing their best to create a fun atmosphere, but some rule enforcement and some reworking of the field layout could help. I’d also like to see alternating some games where speedsofters and high tier gear players can play against each other in a more competitive setting, and run some games for players who aren’t looking to be as competitive.

Honestly I would rate this place higher but there is soo many problems with this field, for instance the smell its bad it smells like like a bunch of chemicals and a gas leak, next the whole inside looks like its gona collapse down it is soo disgusting inside some parts it looks like the ceiling is about to fall down and the place looks like a horror movie scene, also the main field is way to small there is no bang bang rule so good luck not trying to bleed while being shot because the engagement distance rule is non existent plus sometimes the reffs don't chrono peoples guns which is a safety hazard speaking of safety hazards the place needs to be inspected because it looks bad it looks like the whole place is a big safety hazard and it looks like the whole place is gona collapse, so please I know going to alternate arms airsoft is tempting because of the prices but please for the love of God do not go here if you are trying to start...

I played here today, and I’ve got to say this is my new favorite field. The staff was incredibly helpful, funny, and really went above and beyond when assisting me with my problems. I personally run a Tokyo Marui AA12, because it’s my favorite shotgun. They gave me no problems about it, and even allowed me to use the drum mag for it! Their rental choices are a unique pick, compared to other fields.

The referee briefing the players on each game we played was very clear about the rules of each game, and made it easy to understand how to play. The field is semi-locked. Full auto is prohibited, unless a specific event is going on. This may seem like a downside, which was what I originally thought, but it really isn’t bad at all! Especially if you run an AA12.

The players do not play aggressively and are simply looking to have a good time, which was a huge plus. If you are wanting to get into airsoft, or are into airsoft, this field is highly...
