I have been going here through multiple owners for about 20+ years and have never had an issue until now. When I went for my last dip appointment, I was shown a new nail color book. I was excited and picked one out. Fast forward 10 days later, I noticed my nails are cracking all the way up to the cuticle and the top coat is flaking off. I called and informed them of the issue and wondered if others who tried the new dip brand had same issues. I was told to come up to the salon so they could see the issue. When I came in I was approached by the new owner (did not know at the time) and was told it was just the clear top coat and to come back the next day when Jenna who did my nails would be there. I do not think this has anything to do with the nails Jenna does because they are always great but rather the new product. I let Jenna take off the top coat, bush and reapply the top coat. As I knew, it did not fix the issue and I pointed this out. I was told to come back in a wk to get a new set. I felt dismissed and the concern over product quality is brushed off. I don't need a new set. I am upset as I have never had an issue with my nails or the quality but knew In the past if I did, the previous owner would have taken care of the issue. After explaining multiple times nicely that I am not happy with the quality and that I wouldn't have come if I knew they were just going to redo the top coat when the cracks are still there …. Like What did you accomplish by redoing the top coat?!?! They acknowledged the cracks and advised me to come back when the owner returns Sunday….. by then, what is the point?!? I finally made the decision to let them know, I would not be back which is a shame. I told them I’m not returning as a long time customer over a product quality issue they refuse to do anything about. If they don’t stand behind their product and services, I don’t know how the new owner could put on their website that their primary aim is to provide their customers with the utmost care and attention to ensure their satisfaction as written on their new website….. time to find...
Read moreI could kick myself for not listening to my intuition. I was told to sit at a station and that the woman who would do my nails would be right with me. My person took her time to get to me. She went to the back, walked around went to the back again, stopped to chat to the other workers.; that is when I told myself get up and leave but I sat there like a dummy. She finally came to work. Told her I wanted the dip which I already had, she proceeded to file it off which looked like it wasn't go well. I should of got up and left but I sat like a dummy. She dipped my nails like 4 or 5 times never experienced that. When I asked her was she going to clean up my cuticles she said it was an extra 5 dollars but was going to do it for free. What? By the end one of my nails had a big dent which she admitted to messing up and want to file off but I was there for an hour and a half and was ready to go. I feel my dollar tip was waaay too much to give her. Will not...
Read moreI'd been trying different nail salons in the area to find the best place to get dip done. Once I went to best nails, my search was over! I've been 4 times now and had a different technician each time (I always walk in) and every time my nails have come out perfectly! They don't knick my cuticles, they don't grind my natural nail down too thin, I always ask for my dip to be thicker and they do that for me. My nails last forever without cracking or popping off. It is a small place but luckily I've never had to wait, though I would if I needed to! I have seen some ladies come in and get an attitude that they have to wait when they have 4 people and no reservation but the staff is always polite and professionalno matter what. Prices are fine, average. Not a lot of bells and whistles but I've left extremely...
