I see Cynn S. and Elizabeth Weber must have received service from the same person I dealt with at this store. The last time my wife I visited this particular location was in 2023. For the same reasons Cynn and Elizabeth posted; service. There was an elderly lady who works there who believes it is her place to shame clientele coming through the door. My wife and I visit restaurants all over Fort Worth and TX. I am in a wheelchair. The worker/manager who I'm writing about thought it was in her best interest and the interest of the restaurant to openly inquire about my noticeable medical concerns. I respectfully declined based on her immature request. She had a smug attitude after that but proceeded to take our order. After she rang up the order and gave us the total she openly told me that she gave me a military discount, as to make things better for her unwanted inquiry. I directly told her that I didn't serve in the military and her assumption was a disgrace and disrespectful to those who did. I asked her to remove the discount but again with the same smug attitude she stated that it's already on there and it can't be taken off as if no one is going to tell her what to do. We paid for the order and ate in the dining room. As if that encounter wasn't enough, the same lady approached me when I rolled up to the drink fountain to get a refill. Normally, I put my drink between my legs to use my arms to roll myself. This lady tried to grab the drink between my legs and also take control of pushing my wheelchair. All this, while trying to explain that she knows how to take care of the handicapped and in the presence of my wife. I was very direct with the uneducated fast food worker and told her to get her hands off of me. I am not sure if the store needs to provide better sensitivity training for their workers as a whole or do something with this person whom many of us have had unfavorable dealings with. However, my wife and I have elected not to revisit this location based on...
Read moreDon't understand why certain people gave this place a poor rating. Soon as me and my son walked in we were greeted by the employee at the counter. Our food was ready by the time I got done paying for it. As far as the dining area goes, I saw nothing but clean tables. Only thing I did noticed there wasn't that many people in the restaurant. Maybe it was because it was a Sunday night around 7:30 before they were getting ready to close IDK. My overall experience of this A&W/LJS location was excellent! Better than most fast food places. They always say the customer is right but I think in this case the previous customers who came here are the ones with attitude problem! Bottom line...service was good and food was good. Just needs more business. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars. Hope they don't shut this location down. Me and my son would like to...
Read moreThis location is a combination A&W/Long John Silver’s. I’ve been a few times during lunch hour and there’s never been more than one other car in the drive-thru, so it’s a pretty great location for lunch. The drive-thru folks are always very nice, too, which really helps.
The food quality seems pretty fresh for fast food, and they’ve handled things like “could you please grill the onions” like champs. I got a bad cup of coleslaw one time but they were quick to thank me for letting them know and comped me a large replacement.
That being said, they always take a long time to have my food ready. But I’ve never had them actually mess up an order, which is unheard of in the fast food industry (it’s not usually “did they mess something up or not”, it’s usually “what did they mess up and how bad is it”) so I’d definitely...
