This used to be my favorite place to eat, specifically for their Red Curry Ramen, back in 2016-2018. When I first had the the dish, it was unlike any other I've tasted before and it was honestly very memorable to the point of me still thinking about it years later. I moved away and was finally back in the area to go and have a bowl. I was very excited and awaiting the exact same flavors I've come to love. Sadly, this was not what I got. The quality and flavoring of the ramen was lacking. There was literally no flavor to the broth, it tasted like water. They loaded it up with noodles and barely any toppings. The only toppings inside the bowl were a few pieces of cabbage, one egg, and about three slices of fish cake, one strip of seaweed, and a tiny sprinkle of green onion. Pork Belly was not good at all, I didn't eat it. At first I noticed that the bowl didn't look as hearty as I remembered but I thought that the color was still the same so I had hope. It looks just like what I remember but when I had that first bite I immediately regretted my decision. I ate as much as I could, but I ended up just giving up and taking the loss because it was not enjoyable at all. I paid $13 (Closer to $16 total) for this? The service is always good there and the people are always nice and the restaurant itself is cute, but I feel like they might be cutting corners when it comes to the quality of their ingredients now. I would be willing to pay the price if I got the same quality meal but no. I will not be returning. Very sad to know that I'll never get to experience that dish again. :/

First let me say that as an Asian American, I grew up going to my birth-country of Japan every year until I was 18 years old. I grew up with authentic Japanese cuisine, and every year since then I try a new Japanese restaurant that serves as-close-to-authentic cuisine as possible. Each year I am disappointed, BUT this time I was pleasantly surprised. Now let me say that sashimi is what I always order, and it has to be fresh and tasty. Wild Sushi and Ramen comes pretty close. Although the staff aren't Japanese, they ARE Asian--I believe this does matter to some degree to lend authenticity to the dining experience--and the sashimi lunch special was very good. I have dined at only three places that I consider authentic: Ra Sushi in Dallas, Sushi Luck in Rockport (owned and operated by a Japanese couple), and now Wild Sushi. I can't speak to the ramen as I did not try it, but the sushi appetizer I had was very good. Give them a try and see if I'm right. Domo arigato!

I will say that I have pretty high standards with Ramen and Sushi. So take the review how you will. The Ramen and Broth (Tonkotsu) were good and flavorful. Not super rich but a decent bowl of ramen. The BBQ pork (Charsu) was good..The Eggs were excellent and perfect! All in all a decent bowl but not the best I've ever had. The shrimp and.veggie tempura were ok, but not worth the price. The Crab Rangoons we're excellent and I could have ordered 2 plates and ate them by myself. The egg rolls were fine, a little oily but the flavor inside was good. The Sake was not good. Not sure what brand they used but it was the worst I've ever tried. The service was good and food came quickly. The atmosphere was good but a little tight which is common with sushi restaurants.

This place is average. The food isn't amazing, but its not bad; however, the service is god awful.

Got the shio ramen w/ pork belly amd an eel roll. The ramen was a bit bland and the pork was a a bit rubbery and fattier than a normal pork belly cut. Normal pork belly will habe the fat & meat practically melt in your mouth. The eel roll was alright. Eel had lots of skin and was kinda chewy but it was alright.

Anyways, our server was brand new on her second Day, and clearly had never served before. I have been a server for multiple local restaurants so i try to stay understanding, but this girl- 1. brought a cook out to explain a simple question because she didnt know, 2. asked ME what one of the appetizers were (uh, I don't work here)3. forgot what our table of two ordered (pretty sure we were her only table) and 4. told the guest I brought with that the yakisoba does not come with anything. When my guest protested and showed the menu stating it comes w/ salad and soup she apologized.

Y'know I don't really fault her though, as it's evidence that management did not take any time to properly train her. -1.5 stars for decent but not amazing ramen, and -0.5 star for a clueless server. I would like to return in the future to try another dish, hopefully with a more helpful server.

I'd strongly suggest either- Hanabi Ramen on Bowie blvd. (11miles away) For 5/5 stars, or Saikou Ramen on presidio(3miles away) for 4/5 stars...

This review is less about the food and more about setting expectations. I am here taking care of my mom who has been in the hospital gravely ill. She is recovering but it has been a lot. I ate at Wild Sushi and Ramen later one night close to 9 pm, late last week and really enjoyed the service, atmosphere and food. I got edamame, tuna nachos, and an avocado dish and some wine. Food and service was really good and it has been a stressful week with mom in the hospital so I wanted to eat there again to ease into going back to the hotel from the hospital. However, tonight Tuesday July 22, 2025, I got there at 9:18, relived I made it before they closed and hopeful for a quick meal before bed but was told they stopped service at 9:15. The person was calm, polite, and said he was sorry but that was that. Also as I sat in my car trying to figure out what to eat, they turned their lights off at 9:20. Please note their posted hours of service on both their door to the restaurant and on google are that they close at 9:30. Yes, totally understand I should have arrived sooner but I would ask that if you are not going to provide service during your posted hours of operation, please change them to either 9:00 or 9:15 when you actually stop serving. Had it not been such a stressful week, maybe this would be less of an issue, but all I ask is that you either honor your posted hours or...
