Breakfast Club 51 Fort Worth — Restaurant in Fort Worth

Took about 10 mins to get a drink order. My wife ordered coffee and before I could order my drink, the waitress walked off. She brought 2 coffees. The coffee was VERY weak. Like maybe 3 scoops of coffee went into the entire pot.

20 mins after getting coffees, I flagged down the waitress that got us the coffee. She was not our waitress though so she talked to the man behind the counter who then sent over a waitress that was so ill prepared, it was comedic.

She apologized and asked what we'd like to drink while we had coffees in front of us. She promptly grabbed the creamer trash from the table and walked off to the trash can before returning to take our delayed order. We started to order food but she needed to find her glasses first. We finally got the order placed.

I ordered a skillet. It came with my choice of cheese. I was not asked about my preference though before the waitresd walked off. The cheese tasted like the nacho cheese at a gas station's hot dog bar. I ordered the eggs over medium. They came out VERY runny (over easy) which is a bit far from medium.

My wife said her food was fine but it's hard to mess up biscuits and bacon.

It seems that the food type changed (used to be 2 different burger joints that failed) but the service and experience did not change. They went from mediocre burger joint to mediocre breakfast joint. There are too many options in the area for breakfast/brunch to recommend this...

First, there is nothing negative to say about this place. We had passed it many times going to Kroger later in the day and it was always closed. We set out to give it a shot. First surprise is that as of about 2-3 weeks ago they are now open for dinner with a separate menu. The atmosphere is extremely clean, new, and obviously the result of a serious investment. Many restaurants leave their bathrooms as a secondary priority and, at time, no priority. This is a real problem for me and many other patrons who can’t see past a disdainful treatment of those rooms which could cause me to seriously doubt how clean their kitchen is. This bathroom was pristine and contributed to my faith here. The staff was incredibly friendly, pleasant, and engaging. The menu is extensive and certainly has something for everyone. It also demonstrates a clear and successful attempt to put their unique mark on a food category that can easily become mainstream and boring. It's pretty rare that I find something that someone hasn't thought of before, even if it is a unique combination of normal items in a fun way. We have gone to this restaurant many times. Food was good, coffee was really good and the service was decent. We had had a couple times where the service was just OK but for the most part, it was good. Today however, the service was extremely lacking. There was only 2 other tables of people in the restaurant. We were seated at a table near the bar where all the servers were congregated talking. It took 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge us and that was after we heard someone ask if they were going to check on their tables. The food was decent. The coffee tasted like they have changed brands. My wife is not a coffee snob but she likes good coffee. She said this coffee tasted bad and she couldn't drink it. They used to use Segrefredo coffee but it tasted like they went to a different, cheaper brand. I had finished my coffee and had my cup sitting near the edge of the table indicating I wanted a refill. The server finally asked after we both were finished eating If we wanted more coffee. At that point, I was finished. Based on what I saw today, the server staff looked like they were there to socialize with each other than serve tables. It may be a while before I go back. This was one of our go-to places but I have to rethink that now. I have other go-to places that will appreciate...
