The first time coming to this establishment as I went to legacy salon, down the sidewalk, not knowing you needed an appointment for them, I was referred to nails & beyond. I was greeted by a lady who wanted to know quickly what I wanted and sat me in a chair and had two people come over to do my mani and pedi. I prefer to do a Mani at the table versus them trying to do both at one time it's very un-relaxing. I am situated into the chair and ask for the remote for the chair they don't hand it to me they just turn it on which is not on a setting that I wanted, they asked me to pick out paint. I told them what pedicure I wanted- I told the lady I wanted the pedi one with Hot rocks- I got hot towels instead- I questioned it and I was told that is not what I had asked for. I told the lady at the front desk I wanted the hot wax, hot towels, Hot rocks, the works😳 I wanted a French dip for my manicure and it is a horrible job they asked if I wanted my nails cut down I said, yes. just a little bit I didn't want them cut down to my finger. I got no massage for my feet whatsoever the two spoke to each other not acknowledging me at all- I understand that all of these establishments they speak to each other in their language, but usually they talked to the customer too and they didn't. They only ask me if I liked the " massage " which was basically her rubbing lotion on my legs and she was done.🤷🏼♀️ no foot massage whatsoever. The best part about it was the water was nice and hot and the lady got out my ingrown. I left there feeling the way I felt when I walked in. Hurting feet. I saw everyone else around me getting massages on their arms and shoulders none of that happened to me, they didn't even massage or clip my cuticles. And the one lady when I told her I wanted something on my toe, a decoration of some sort and I wanted a jewel on it , she said they don't last long anyway, like she didn't want to do it 🫣 I told her I didn't care I wanted it so she put it on. It was my only day to treat myself as I don't do it often, because it does cost so much I just wanted to relax as I work hard like everyone else, I just feel really disappointed in spending $140. I won't be back. I thought I was going to get better treatment in a "more upscale" salon, I was sadly mistaken. Overpriced, staff not...
Read moreNew customer This was my first time, I got a dip manicure. While I love my nails, the customer service will most likely keep me from returning, on top of the prices. I didn’t have time to look over the menu and felt a little rushed to sit down. At no point was I offended a drink but there was plenty being handed out. That should automatically be something that is offered with how much is spent and the customer should not have to ask. I chose not to ask cause I simply wanted to see if I would be offered one but nothing, not even a water.
I saw in another review mentioned discrimination and it was felt that good service was selective and I very much felt that. Almost every person that I saw getting a pedicure was getting all kinds of attention. While I felt like I was just getting my nails done. I had Lisa for my nail tech and while apparently I couldn’t keep my hands relaxed enough, I am very happy with my nails. She did a great job and listened to what I asked for. Since I didn’t get a chance to look at the menu I’m not even sure what I got. I feel like I was charging for removal and my previous did and the cuticle trim. Those should be included in a manicure. Everyone else around me that got their nails done received a shoulder massage at the end. I’m assuming that is part of one of their services but that would have been a nice addition while I waited for my nails to dry but she was pulled for a pedicure. I just felt like it was more of an inconvenience rather than providing the best service possible with every customer. Considering the times and how expensive things are with inflation, the service should match those prices and be top notch.
Edit to add: Nails cracked after the first week and chipped...
Read moreI’ve been coming here for years for basic pedi and simple acrylic nail style. The last few times I’ve come trying different styles than I normally would but still basic has been horrible with the nail techs. They get so upset because they can’t do like the picture you show and walk around and talk about you and laugh. Lisa is horrible, I wanted to make sure she knew how to do the new style V cut French and she told me she could not do exactly like the photo , so I proceeded to ask another question and she got quickly got irritable and she said someone else will do it only because I was asking a question regarding something I’m about to pay my money for. Michelle stepped in and also could not do what it was that I was asking. I kept trying to nicely express that I prefer Lilly to do as she’s done before so we won’t have to keep wasting each others time. She insisted on continuing to try and correct it making the situation more irritating than what it already was. When I finally said , I need Lilly because at this point we’ve already burned an hour for nothing she slams her nail kit, gets up and starting talking in a different language and the others started laughing. I have been in between this nail shop for the reason of them behaving the way they have and another that I really like that is a little more distance. Seems like I may have to take the drive to start getting my nails and toes done for better service and quality. I do appreciate front desk Andre, Donna and their son. As well as Lilly the nail tech for their good quality customer service skills. But I just cannot deal with the others. Also attaching the simple inspired nail pic from Pinterest that they could not achieve and was upset...
