The staff was rude. Having never been there I watched to see how they did things and was ignored but daughter had been to one before. The decor looks like a thrift store in a low income neighborhood. The chairs we sat in were very loose at the joints and wobbly. The "egg chef" needs to go back to school. I asked if they did poached eggs and was told they had no idea what that was so I ordered my eggs over medium, got over hard. Bacon burnt, potato thing was hard and cold. We asked for jam for the dry bread and were told we needed to buy a jar. If you expect us to buy it, why not give us a sample to try first? For the price we paid I expect much better quality across the board. Waffle house would have been better across the board. Maybe that is why they were packed and LaMadeline was empty.

LaMadeline boasts a truly stunning location, perfect for enjoying a meal outdoors. While the service was friendly, there were some hiccups: our americanos arrived 30 minutes after our food. The food itself was decent, but the country soup could have been hotter and the quiche had room for improvement in terms of temperature and seasoning. Additionally, the condition of the tables was concerning, with many being scratched and wobbly, making it a bit nerve-wracking to have hot drinks on them. If LaMadeline addresses these issues, particularly the service wait times and table maintenance, I would be more inclined to return for another try. My recommendation: Areas of improvement 1. Must hire at least 4-6 Waitresses 2. Maintenance 3. Management 4. Kitchen

We arrived, and we had not expected that the whole restaurant has been redone. The flooring is very very bright and light colored, and it was just quite a difference than what it was there before. Also, there’s been some rearranging of the ordering area and the tables and so on and so forth, but always the same amazing food. I got the tomato basil soup and I was given a lovely plate of bread to go with that and my friend ordered the onion soup something soup and also the Caesar salad and that was very large and very nice and then we had some coffee at the end. And it was a really really great experience. I was sick and so the soup made me feel 100% better thank you La Madeline for always coming through with your beautiful food.

What a disappointing experience. My husband and I stopped in to order a quick lunch to go. We ordered a regular Caesar salad no chicken, a Croque Monsieur with a side Caesar, strawberries romanoff, and we added one of the pre-packaged cookies from the counter. 20 minutes later, we were still waiting. One of the ladies delivering food to tables at that point asked what order we were waiting on and when we told her 2 salads and a sandwich she said she would check on it. Never saw her again. After a few more minutes we walked back up to the counter, the same girl that took our order greeted us as if we just walked in and asked what she could get started for us! We replied that we have never received what we already ordered and paid for to which she asked what we ordered. We repeated our order to her and she said, “oh, let me go check on that” and walked towards the kitchen, where right behind her on the counter were 2 salads, a sandwich, and strawberries. I brought that to her attention, at which time 2 other girls were shuffling things around on the counter and putting food in a bag, one of which started pulling out baking racks and commented that the reason it took so long was they were looking for the cookie. I held up the cookie that I had been holding for the past 25-30 minutes as well as pointed out all the other cookies on the counter and the response we received was “oh, ok, well here you go, sorry.” When we got home, not only did we see that the sandwich was only toasted on one side (like they didn’t even bother to flip it over) but also, there were no croutons on either salad, but instead there was a bag with literally 12 croutons in it….for both salads. And yes, we did count them b/c at that point it was comical how bad it was. We used to love La Madeline’s food and the experience there, however, with how bad the food was along with this lack of customer service, today’s experience will keep us...

From out of town and was looking for a different food choice then the normal. Found La Madeline about a 5 min drive from our Hotel. We visited this restaurant 2 days in a row, did breakfast and dinner the first time then just breakfast and a to go the second day. Day one when we first walked in bright and smells clean. Didn't get a welcome but the cashier was helping someone so that is no a problem. The cashier was pleasant to spoke with and helpful with my questions. We asked for recommendations when we could not decide between 2 items. That didn't disappoint. Got fruit tarts, a chocolate tart with our breakfast of blueberry cheesecake French toast so good, then I got the waffle with a benedict egg on top with a side of harsh brown did not need any salt or pepper great the way it was. Dinner we got pesto pasta with a bread side so good, and the La Madeline chicken and rice dish it was plain nothing special. Ordered a chocolate croissant should have asked to have it warmed up would have been even better and a creme brulee it was so good. We did meet with a man possibly one of the chiefs that night he was sweet and helped with the welcoming feeling. The waitres was nice also but didn't get any names the whole time but that didn't bother us. Sunday day 2 for breakfast we got the blueberry cheesecake waffles definitely more sweet then the fresh toast option but still good, also got the La Madeline crepe and the flavor was much better and worth getting. Got several items to take back home with us for our family and will be coming to visit when we come...

This review is for my most recent, and last trip ever, on Monday 01-13-2025. I have been a loyal customer to this location for more than 20 years. This was my first time in the store since the remodel. What a total disaster. All I wanted to do was order three items for a carry out order. I was over charged for an item I did not order, never got a receipt, and was never even asked my name. The lady trying to enter the orders did not speak fluent English, and did not understand what I was trying to say, and she was not trained on how to operate the touchscreen register device. I waited for at least 25 minutes before I started asking the status of my order. At that point we had to start all over again. What I can only assume was the current shift manager had difficulty communicating with that same lady who took my order. I was watching while order carriers could not figure out which table was supposed to get which items. Several customers bringing the wrong order right back to the counter to point out the errors. None of the staff seemed tot know what they were supposed to do. I never got an apology for my extended wait time and the confusion for my order. Will never go back again. And I am saddened to write that, because I always had a special affinity for this restaurant. The remodel by the way 100% killed all of the appeal of a small French restaurant, in a long established location. This is...
