Hillbarn Theatre — Attraction in Foster City

My husband and I watched the Always... Patsy Cline of the preview night. We got the front row seating right in the middle of the theatre, Excellent seats but the airflow of the airconditioner is right above us. it was very cold and almost freezing. I asked the manager if there was a chance he could adjust the temperature, unfortunately, and disappointingly, he can not because it's already preset. He offered us to change seats, and I said no. It's a perfect premium seats. Thank goodness, I've got extra sweatshirt in the car and wore it. During the break, I overheard some patrons were also complaining of the temperature too cold. The audience were mostly old seniors. I hope the management will take care of the temperatutre. I'm sure some more patrons may complain. J The show...

My daughter has been involved in the kids productions and camps here for years. We all love hillbarn! She loves it because the directors and everyone involved with the kids is so wonderful, fun and committed. I love it because the hours and offerings as a camp and afterschool activity are super convenient and helpful as a parent. But I really love it because the productions at the end are so we'll choreographed, produced, directed and rehearsed that they are a true pleasure to watch! Me and my wife attended the musical of Carrie and we thought it was Fantastic. Upon arrival you need to wear a mask and show some form of a verification of being vaccinated. With that said the asian gentlemen that was checking our verification was overly aggressive in checking our verification that it made us very uncomfortable. Overall a unbelievable experience but with Covid I get it, but we felt very uncomfortable of being aggressively told to find our vaccination verification.
