On my way to the City for an event, I found myself craving a sandwich and discovered @TheSandwichMonkey in Foster City. I decided on the Harvest Monkey, a delicious combination of turkey, cream cheese, cranberry sauce, lettuce, and tomatoes—each bite tasting like Thanksgiving on a sandwich, festive and comforting. I also tried the Bonobo, featuring mozzarella, balsamic vinaigrette, olive oil, basil, salt, and pepper. It was reminiscent of a classic Pizza Margherita—fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delightful. Not good, basic cold bland sandwich. Been here a few times, disappointed every time. You can make a better sandwich at your house. Go to Safeway you’ll get a better sandwich at a better price. Not sure why this place charges so much for a basic sandwich. Menu is real basic. My sandwich included bacon from the menu after opening.
