I LOVE Urban Aerial Fitness!! I've been visiting from out-of-state for a month so I decided to find a local pole studio while I'm here to keep up with the pole training I've been doing back home (for about 1 year). First of all, the class sizes are small so you get lots of individual attention, they offer a large variety of classes for all different levels, the poles are tall so you're not limited by ceiling height in your moves, and you never have to share a pole (unlike many other studios in the area). The atmosphere is very clean, relaxed, and pretty friendly (although I do admit I was a little confused as to where the pole room was my first time and no one on the aerial side directed me but I eventually figured out). The instructors and owners here are great teachers, experienced/amazing at what they do, encouraging, patient, and they taught me in a way that helped me finally get those pole moves I've been struggling with forever! They push you so that you're always challenged and learning new moves but also break things down so that you're never discouraged. Also, I purchased a one week Groupon deal the last time I was visiting (almost a year ago) and I didn't end up using it due to a family emergency. They were gracious enough to let me redeem the same deal even though it had long expired. I continued with a one-month membership and their pricing is about par or a little less than other studios and they are worth every penny!!! Can't wait to come back next time I'm visiting and take some drop-in classes! If you're looking for a work-out that's fun and sexy while getting a good sweat, I highly encourage you to...
Read moreI have been coming to this studio for almost 4 years, training aerial silks for 4 years and pole for 2 years. I have learned so much from all the instructors here. I come almost everyday and spend 1-3hrs training. If you are just starting out I highly recommend taking the hoop1/silks1 classes. They go over basic climbing and skills you need to be able to excel in the other classes. The all level classes are great if you have a few beginner classes (hoop1/silks1) under your belt, easier to keep up and learn as much as you can from the instructors. Overall I love this studio and recommend anyone who is looking to change up their workout routines and...
Read moreMore expensive than other studios in the area but worth the price. The instructors at this studio are not only incredible artists, but know how to teach and modify instruction for a wide range of skill level. The vibe of the studio is always so positive - students cheer each other on and instructors notice and acknowledge progress. Unlike other studios, I have never had to share my apparatus with other students...
