Twenty years ago, we first encountered Jim Sanders and acquired a breathtaking Victor Hohne piece, knowing we'd return. Now led by Jim’s son, Chris, who has seamlessly carried forward his father’s legacy of excellence, and honesty, the gallery radiates passion and expertise. Chris elevates art ownership to an extraordinary experience—his knowledge is boundless, his enthusiasm infectious, and his approach refreshingly genuine. A purchase of a Mian Situ masterpiece (two of which we proudly own, see attached) came with a heartfelt touch: a signed letter, a testament to the gallery’s thoughtfulness. I’ve been a customer of Sanders Gallery for about 6 years now, and I can say with full confidence that this is not an in and out browse and leave type of Gallery. Chris cares about his customers and clients and works to form lasting relationships with them. It’s not just about selling art with Chris. It’s about storytelling, sharing of passions. Learning and exploring curiosities, new artists and old masters. He’s been in the business for a long time, both him and his family.
