Read morePrepare to be enchanted at Sanders Galleries, a haven of artistic brilliance that captivates from the moment you cross its threshold. Twenty years ago, we first encountered Jim Sanders and acquired a breathtaking Victor Hohne piece, knowing we'd return. The gallery's curation is a masterful symphony, weaving a diverse tapestry of styles and artists that ignite inspiration. Each artwork is meticulously showcased, with lighting that dances across every detail, beckoning you to immerse yourself fully.
Now led by Jim’s son, Chris, who has seamlessly carried forward his father’s legacy of excellence, and honesty, the gallery radiates passion and expertise. Chris elevates art ownership to an extraordinary experience—his knowledge is boundless, his enthusiasm infectious, and his approach refreshingly genuine. A purchase of a Mian Situ masterpiece (two of which we proudly own, see attached) came with a heartfelt touch: a signed letter, a testament to the gallery’s thoughtfulness. We’re already dreaming of adding more of Situ’s work to our collection.
Sanders Galleries is a beacon of professionalism, trustworthiness, and love for art. Though we live 1,000 miles away, we make the pilgrimage to Tucson a priority, eager to discover what treasures await. This is more than a gallery—it’s a celebration of creativity and beauty, curated with integrity. We can’t wait to return and urge anyone who cherishes art to experience this gem. Highly...
Read moreI’ve been a customer of Sanders Gallery for about 6 years now, and I can say with full confidence that this is not an in and out browse and leave type of Gallery. Chris cares about his customers and clients and works to form lasting relationships with them. It’s not just about selling art with Chris. It’s about storytelling, sharing of passions. Learning and exploring curiosities, new artists and old masters. He’s been in the business for a long time, both him and his family. And his knowledge spans multiple mediums, many artists, and so much more. I’ve bought multiple bronzes from Chris and he always takes good care of me. If you know me at all, I never write reviews, so if I do, it’s for good reason. Aside from selling in his Gallery, Chris is great at nurturing relationships and keeping in touch consistently, with relevant offerings and good prices. Our 6 years keeping in touch have resulted in a few dozen bronzes and other pieces, and I value our relationship. Whether paintings, sculpture or anything in between, go see Chris in Tucson, or give him a call, you’ll have a great source as a collector and an even better friend to...
