Not a wide variety of candy, and any candy there overpriced. But to give a more personal rating, my experience was awful. The woman in the store was rude, harsh, and unwelcoming. Once me and my husband and family it inside, she shut the door behind us and continued to watch us all like a hawk while we browsed. My husband, in a wheelchair, had difficulty going anywhere in the store. I saw a fun candy in a bin and I went to grab one (it was an individually wrapped candy) to show my husband so that he wouldn't have to maneuver all the way to me, and the woman snaps and yells at me, letting everyone in the store have their attention on me. She sternly snaps at me to not put my hands on any candy and that there is a sign that says so. Now I would have absolutely followed the rules, but the fact that the sign was about the size of a 3x5 index card and the entire store is full of decorations I didn't see it. I profusely apologized and immediately dropped the piece of candy and she said nothing in return, only that she could grab me a glove if needed. I know this isn't a big deal to everyone, but due to a mild mental disability I'm prone to sensitivities like this. My family and I promptly left the store afterwards. Next time, tell your customers what needs to be done POLITELY and offer help to them, don't make them feel bad for doing something innocently. Even if it...
Read moreDo yourself a favor and look at the yell reviews on this place; Logan was the person working when we went here and he was rude. My daughter was asking questions and he seemed annoyed and gave her short, abrupt answers which were not the way one working in a candy store would typically interact with a child. He also yelled at my other child; my sons promptly left the store upset and would not go back inside… my husband informed Logan of the issue and he seemed dismissive and didn’t really care. A candy store should employ people who like children. I was surprised when added me review to yelp as there are several negative reviews about staff...
Read moreStumbled upon this candy shop leaving the dinosaur exhibit in the same complex. I mean who doesn’t want to stop at a candy shop, we sure do every time we see one.
The place is beautiful, bright and cheerful smelled sweet. First thing I noticed was their pricing. Individual candies were way more expensive than your other candy stores and the fill a bag candies did not have a pricing on them ( I’m cheap so I avoid that )
Listening to the people in front of me made me glad I didn’t. 3 small bags cost them $40 something. INSANE.
Lots of typical candy you can get from any store and small variety of unique or old...
