The store was aesthetically pleasing, Great displays and the vault is a cool feature. Amazing cards and memorabilia to look at. Atmosphere was cool as they do their fanatics & whatnot live streams in the front of the store, fun to watch/listen in person. For card buying though they were expensive. A majority of the boxes were $10 to $20 over retail price. Very small section for going through $5/10 cards. Only had 3 boxes and they were not organized even by sport. It was just a hodge podge of random cards not that many good hits in there. Didn't find one card I wanted. Spent more time organizing & Separating the NFL from other sports. D spent $20, but over all we were underwhelmed. Good place to look at beautiful cards/memoriablia but not for bins or kids, it has more of a "look but dont touch" feel. Also this didnt sit well with me : when we first arrived we were kinda scoffed at speaking with one of the employees. As we told him were referred to this location from a card shop owner in PA who knew the CV owner. The employee basically responded "yeah right, lots of ppl pretend to know the boss " sarcastically. Also they had a few employees but none offered to help us, or ask if there was anything we were looking for. It was kinda like we...
Read moreCool spot to see some stuff but not the best. Prices were anywhere from 50%-100% higher than comps with a few fair prices trickled in (to be expected given the location) What really got me is the worker. Me and my friend were there for 10 min and the whole time the dude couldn’t be bothered to look up from his phone. Literally since we walked in the door we said hello first and he still didn’t look up from his phone to greet us. The entire time we were asking him questions, trying to have a conversation with someone else in the hobby and he would ignore us. Even while ringing us up after spending $400 he couldn’t look up from his phone. As someone being in sales for most my life I totally got the vibe that he thought we were novice/small spenders so elected to not pay us any attention. I’ll make sure to wear business attire instead of shorts next time 🤣 I know this guy wasn’t the owner though so I give 3 stars I’m sure the owner is...
Read moreI recently visited Card Vault Foxboro and had an awesome experience. The employees (I’m terrible with names, sorry!) were incredibly knowledgeable and super helpful. They had a great selection of graded cards and some wax in cases, which was exactly what I was looking for. I was pleasantly surprised to see they also had some Pokémon and anime cards—that was a nice touch!
The prices were right in line with the market, especially considering they had hobby-exclusive boosters, mega boxes, and hobby boxes available. I picked up a couple of 2024 Absolute Football blasters and was thrilled to pull an Explosion card (even if it was a Jet’s player, haha). A case hit is a case hit, and I was stoked about it!
Thanks for the great experience, guys. Sorry I didn’t tag you on Instagram—I only use Facebook (and maybe Twitter?). Looking forward to coming back for...
