Osceola Landing — Attraction in Franconia Township

Osceola Landing is just a magnificent park to spend the day at. (It is currently undergoing construction over the majority of the park adding in more parking, upgraded bathroom buildings, more picnic table areas, and more barbecue grills 🙂) The boat launch area is concrete and/sand and makes for easy loading/unloading of boats on trailers, kayaks, or canoes. You can still walk along the shoreline to find a good fishing spot in the shade, or even take a swim! The spectacular view down and up the St. Croix River is just breathtaking this time of year with the fully leaved treetops, and the magnificent rock bluffs lining the River. You can almost always catch sight of a few Bald Eagles soaring around or even catching fish, and there are plenty of herons as well. All in all Osceola Landing has always been one of my favorite "go to" spots on the St. Croix for just a beautiful day of relaxation and nature enjoying. Can't wait to see it when all of the improvements...

Super easy and convenient location for launching a kayak or canoe. I was able to park close and carry my inflatable down to the water and blow up there. When I got back the kayak rental companies were there so it was pretty crowded but I was still able to find a spot to dock and disassemble. Public restrooms available as well as posted maps...
