I've been searching for a place to hike since moving here last fall, and this is the PERFECT place for hiking, walking, or just taking in the scenery. Great starting point for anyone interested in hiking and just a great time in general. I ended up going around the path a total of 3 times because it was so much fun. My dog was with me, and I think he enjoyed himself equally. Very dog-friendly. Overall: Love love love! Pros: -Right next to a nice town, plenty of parking around that area -A few areas to set up picnic/lounge spots -You have a choice between a peaceful stroll and a more intermediate challenge trail (steep hill "climbing' included) -Beautiful scenery and overlook- romantic too! -Great for families, photoshoots, and friends -Provides periodical benching spots for rest -This is a pro to me, but not to some: A lot of the trail could be considered full nature/forest area, which means it an experience similar to exploring a new forest for the first time. Its exciting! -Pet friendly! (On leash only) -Not too long of a trail, but not too short! Just right! -Trail loops rather than ending at a different location

Cons: -Once you go up a steep path, there aren't any easier ways (that I saw) to get down. So if you choose the vigorous route, make sure you can complete it. -On days where there are a lot of people, it can get a little annoying. The trail thins out in some areas and you can't walk around slow people. -It is peaceful, but can be noisy. Between the waterfalls, the other explorers, and live music from town, you can't expect...

Firstly, this is beautiful but it's not easy to get to if you're at all limited with your mobility. As far as I know, the only way in is down a very long staircase which you then also have to ascend when you're done. I am not the fastest or most in shape so it took me probably 15 minutes to get back up the stairs at the end. I would say there are 75 stairs or so. But it was one of my most desired sights on my trip to the area so I did it.

Also I was very confused before I went as to whether it was open or under construction. It was open as of September 3, 2023. The staircase entrance is just right off the side of the road. It's possible there's another entrance on the other side of the falls (which also may have to do with accessibility) but I'm not sure. I thought I read about that and possibly saw a sign, but I didn't investigate further.

The waterfall is beautiful. Lots of kids and adults were in the water but there were a few free moments for pictures. I was...

The WaterShed Cafe After a few years of wandering around Osceola, WI, I decided to return to the Watershed Cafe for dinner. Completely renovated, it's a very pleasant experience to visit and enjoy the view and the location. On the other hand, if you want to enjoy a small French restaurant without having to travel far, but still enjoy the scenery of the Wisconsin hills, welcome to the Watershed Cafe. You'll also enjoy good food and good drinks. An excellent wine and cocktail list. After appreciating the excellent service and dedication, enjoy a walk through the beautiful scenery of Wilke Glen and Cascade Falls. From the soups to the bakery, everything is appetizing. I recommend the Peterson Steak Selection. Absolutely French. The personalized and professional service makes a visit to this little French culinary paradise even more appealing. So, why spend a fortune traveling to Paris when you can have it in Osceola? Enjoy... See you...

Cascade Falls in Osceola, Wisconsin. A beautiful place for all ages, at night the falls are lit up with LED lights. If you want to continue the walk on the Cascade Falls Trail to the St. Croix River, head over the bridge in front of the waterfall. #adventure #hiking #waterfalls #waterfall #wisconsin @Discover Wisconsin
