This place was a great find for a cozy breakfast joint. The food was phenomenal, 4 of us all got different items and had difficulty stopping before we exploded. The hot Bloody Mary was on point with the pickled carrot and beef stick. Apple crusted french toast was delicious, you didn't even need the local maple syrup they serve with it. Ratatouille omelette was to die for, every bite I cut from the omelette was stringing with cheese all the way to my mouth. That never happens... They even offer fresh squeezed OJ which always hits it out of the park in my opinion. We will be stopping here on our way out of town to grab another latte before we hit the road home. I HIGHLY recommend the honey lavender latte, hands down the best one I've ever had, and I've had a lot of honey lavender lattes. We loved this cozy, homey joint- the atmosphere and staff are spectacular. 11/10 recommend.

The Watershed Cafe is a true gem and an easy five-star experience. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere is simply magical. The cafe is perfectly situated to offer breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, making every meal feel like a special occasion. Whether you're enjoying a coffee or a full meal, the stunning scenery is the perfect backdrop. But the views aren't the only thing to rave about. The food is absolutely delicious, with every dish crafted with care and high-quality ingredients. The menu offers a fantastic selection, and no matter what you choose, you're guaranteed a flavorful and satisfying meal. The combination of the amazing food, the gorgeous views, and the welcoming staff makes the Watershed Cafe a must-visit spot. It's the perfect place for a relaxing brunch, a romantic dinner, or a casual get-together with friends. You won't be disappointed.

Big flavor in small town. In a small town like Osceola you're not gonna find a better restaurant with all home made entrees. This is counter-order-bring-to-your-table concept. Friday night walleye dinner was flavorful, crispy, and light w homemade slaw and tarter sauce with proportionate dill. Pozole soup was hearty but could use more hominy, but again, where else can you find pozole in Osceloa?! Risotto was creamy with tender veggies. Top it off, had rhubarb cherry pie ala mode, yummo! Got coffee cake and apple pastry for tomorrow's breakfast! This is a gem right at Cascade Falls and in a town where it's bar and grill everywhere else, this is homemade yumminess. Prices should be transparent on the chalkboard menu, instead of having to ask how much something is as it can vary greatly, up to $35 for dinner special.

Really quaint little place. The food is absolutely excellent. Service outstanding. Nice variety of menu items. We were hoping to be able to catch breakfast this morning but ended up having to settle for lunch. Burgers are great. The bison burger was absolutely delicious. The fries could use a little bit of work. Not sure if they are double frying or not but they did not stay crispy for very long and they were a bit greasy. Despite that the flavor was good.

Also had a slice of the berry coffee cake and that was extremely delicious. Looks like they have quite a few very nice things inside the case to select from if you're there for a coffee and a quick easy morning cake.

I'm giving it an overall four stars for only two reasons. One the fries. If you're going to do french fries that are hand cut then you have to do them really well. And while the flavor on the fries is really good greasy soggy fries just isn't my thing.

Secondly I think the pricing is a bit high. I understand food costs and my husband has been a general manager in the restaurant industry and worked around food for the better part of 10 years. So while I understand the prices of things have gone up I don't think that the prices are quite what they should be. I could be wrong but I still thought that it was a little bit high to spend over $50 after a tip on two entrees a couple of cans of pop and a piece of coffee cake.

Still I would return. The food is delicious and the people are great and the atmosphere is outstanding. Very clean very nice area with a good little scenic view. Definitely worth the visit and definitely worth coming back to...

I'm not sure what the trendy little town of Osceola has going for it besides this restaurant (and a busy Dairy Queen), but I don't need to know....the Watershed Cafe is enough to make me return!

You can eat inside, or if the weather permits, there is outdoor seating in back overlooking a small rushing water fall. Perfect background noise to accompany any one of the many entrees offered here for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

We were here for dinner and had two slightly unusual dishes. My wife opted for a hummus plate, which had hummus, accompanied by lots of warm pita points. But even better, it had a selection of julienned fresh vegetables (carrots, celery, olives and peppers) the restaurant obtains from local farmers. This is not only important to the local economy, but the vegetables tasted about ten times better than you'd expect from any large grocery store.

I had the macaroni and cheese, which consisted of small pasta shells, with three cheeses, some crispy bacon pieces, all baked to perfection. It came with a small Caesar salad, which I couldn't finish as I had to prioritize when I started getting full!

The only negatives I'll mention, but not take away from the five stars, is that you have to order at the counter and they bring your food (big turn-off for such a nice little restaurant) and the fact it was nearly 90 degrees outside and the AC couldn't come close to keeping the inside cool. So if it's a very warm and humid day, I'd save your visit here for another time. Otherwise, it's one of the greatest places we've visited thus far on this...

We really really loved this place. We would go there often to get their wonderful tomato soup. The last time we walked in there something happened. There was a young man who waited on us, and talked so fast I could barely understand him. My husband, who is hard of hearing did not stand a chance of understanding him. The young man was responding to my husband’s question so when my husband didn’t understand in the first time, he asked again. The young man answered the same way he had the first time. Then I ask him one more time, and he very rudely repeated his answer a third time I got another what he said to translate it to my husband. I felt like this was bad behavior on the waiters part, but we got our food and sat down. My husband didn’t even realize what had going on because I protected him from the young man’s rude behavior. Then later as we were sitting there, I saw the same young man be rude to an elderly person. A woman with white hair wasn’t quite sure where to sit and he’s very currently told her to get back as she would be seated by the hostess. I don’t know the young man’s name, but he wore a hat, and had in a long earring out of one ear.

I sent an email to the restaurant with these concerns. But I didn’t hear from anyone. I didn’t get any assurances that the young man’s behavior would be addressed, adore apology for the way my husband was treated. I’ve waited eight weeks for a response, but getting none, I thought it would be appropriate to post this review. We have been going to the watershed for many many years. We will not...
