The Looking Glass is such a treasure! The vendors throughout the store are constantly changing the merchandise so there is always something new. It's just a block up from Cascade falls and next to a coffee shop as well. We moved to this town in 2015 and absolutely love it. Gwen runs the Looking Glass and is great! She knows her stuff about such a wide variety of re-purposed items, farm finds and antiques. It's a fun environment and they have a cute 50's style ice cream shop in the front where the family can get ice cream and eat inside or get ice cream to go and walk across the street to the gazebo near the creek. Last big point, prices here are SO much cheaper than they are in the cities! Furniture and all sorts of things for less than half of what I saw them for when in the cities. My family and I stumbled on to this shop while visiting Taylor's Falls. It's a very old building, which we absolutely love. Older lady at the counter didn't know if they had diecast or not 🤔 they do! There's a lot of vendors with glass and some so cluttered you can't walk through to even see what's in the space. But over all it's a cool place. Now the shining star is the ice cream counter, most delicious ice cream we've ever eaten 😋 😍 everything tasted homemade. Must get the Mackinaw Island Fudge on a small waffle cone!!!
