Apna Bazar Farmers Market — Attraction in Franklin Township

Strongly recommend you stay away from this store. I had been a loyal customer since its opening. I used to buy stuff for my pujas / religious needs from here. One of the times something that I regularly get had been mislabeled with the price. When I had them check with the store owner/manager in the past as well as pull up my old purchase, they always used to correct it. I appreciated it a lot. Today went to get the same item, again the price had been mislabeled. I spoke with the girl at the front who was extremely rude and too busy talking on the phone in her language continuously as we customers waited to get help from her. She was the same one who had been there the day where luckily when I had been dealing with this issue a manager had walked by and verified the case. Well today she flat out denied to get any manager or supervisor despite multiple requests and continued to ignore me and talk on the phone. She even acknowledged that she remembered from last time but basically refused to help or get help. I cannot justify going to this place anymore and be treated this way. You’re better offf going to Patel brothers or patidar to get the same stuff. At least you know you will be treated with respect and not ripped off.

In case you’re wondering her name she stated was “Kaavya” . There was no badge on the employees so not sure if that truly is her name.

Avoid this place unless you like being disrespected and being ripped off.

In contrast when I went to Patel brothers after , the ladies at the register there were amazing and helped me find exactly what I needed and truly went above and beyond.

Observation after 1 hour spent here:

Big and has potentials, which was not visible on Sunday evening. Not at all organized properly and unclean. Different Vegetables were piled on each other and all over the place. Carelessly organized shelves throughout the massive shop Few Prices were low and while few were expensive than other places. They need to rethink whether they want to make this a Costco or a target or a Walmart. There are many good options around this place and that is what happened to the Chinese store before Apna Bazaar The smaller shops around Apna Bazar like Patidar and Patel, have been here for years, they are clean, smiling faces and well organized and easy to find things, so wouldn’t go to Apna Bazar for a quick or medium shopping just because it’s big, may be when they have a sale people may go The restaurant was so heavily priced without any credentials of the cook or the restaurant nor was there any ambience. Good prices are an average curry would $10 to 11 dollars for a curry and 12 dollars for Briyani. The menu was built to cut the golden hen once for all and swallow the gold. No long term thinking The Billing section were so overwhelmed that they did not even say hi before billing either did they ask about the shop and the reviews Loud unnecessary Punjabi Music rather than smooth Indian music should have been running around the shop like you see music in aircrafts where there are no songs but just music. I recently visited this newly opened grocery store in Franklin Park and was thoroughly impressed. Firstly, the store is exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which is a breath of fresh air. The staff is incredibly friendly and cooperative, making for a pleasant shopping experience. The store is organized in a way that is easy to navigate, with designated aisles that make finding what you need a breeze. I was also pleased to discover that they have a Roti restaurant on-site, where you can purchase fresh food and Roti. In addition, they have a local brand called Sampurna, which offers competitive pricing compared to other brands like Deep and Swad. Parking was also a non-issue, as the store provides ample space in the front. Overall, I would highly recommend this grocery store to anyone in the area, as it provides an excellent shopping experience with high-quality products and exceptional customer service.
