Kachiguda Junction — Restaurant in Franklin Township

I was here for the first time inspired by Instagram reels. But I am actually disappointed by the food and service.

I was here on Friday so obviously the restaurant was busy and I had to wait almost about 40-45 mins with my family. And finally we are inside and love the atmosphere. It mainly has the south indian actors AR image generator. Love the atmosphere, tables, nice quality chairs, and plates and silverware.

We ordered veg manchuria, kachiguda special paneer as starters and mutton biryani, kg egg mandi and gongura paneer. It took almost 25 30mins again to get the starters served and finally when I had the starters, they are not even hot. They mild warm. Both of them. And coming to the taste they aren’t that great. The sauces were too sweet and also spicy. However we ate it and they are okay.

Later came our biryani’s, again one biryani snd mandi are mild warm and gongura biryani was warm. That was so disappointing, by the time the food was in my plate, it wasn’t warm also. And coming to the taste, again nothing special taste about the biryanis or flovor or taste. They are okay, but tasty. I don’t because if it’s busy that wasn’t great or because of warmness. But I was unhappy, and I also told my server about it, one denied that it was warm and one accepted that it is warm and told us they would let the kitchen know about it. Servers were friendly and polite however they didn’t bring our food hot🥲.

And I didn’t capture the starters plates, but they are plastic plates. I don’t know if it plastic or some other material, but it wasn’t resistant to heat so I guess that’s why starters aren’t hot as well.

I am not actually too specific about food being hot, but I was disappointed at the restaurant and made me realise all of the this. I felt this is over rated when compared to taste and service. But my ambience, it is great. Overall for 5 items my bill...

The food is highly praised. Especially, Non-vegetarian Appetizers, Dishes like Kodi Pakodi (Chicken Pakora), Chicken Bombhat (who likes little more spicy side), Loose Prawns are great as being flavorful and satisfying.

Portions are generous—a good value in terms of quantity.

Service is described positively: staff are “friendly,” accommodating(e.g. for spice levels or children) are good. Asking the feed back on every occasion.

Ambience is decent; likely clean and comfortable. The AI wall mural is something new and makes happy memories for every TFI fans.

Things Noted / Minor Criticisms

The Chef’s Special Chicken Biryani was flavorful but on the dry side, which took away from the overall experience. Because it’s new, some people are still exploring the menu; so while many dishes are hits, consistency may still be developing.

Food:Tasty as usual(which got us back to the restaurant after a month) Service:Improved a lot when compared to August 2025 but can get better. Take Out:Needs a lot of improvement.No rice was given till we asked again,while we placed the order we were told that it was complimentary.Curry was supposed to mild but it was very spicy,which was a let down. Wait Time:Improved a lot.Got food in 10 mins unlike last time when we waited for an hour.We went with was suggested by KJ guys.We did not order what was in the menu as food took long time during our previous visit.

Suggestion:Since kids also come to your restaurant,you could have spice level rating from 1-5 and prepare food accordingly.

August 2025: This restaurant has all the Hyderabadi dishes that we crave for with same tastes and aroma.Food tastes delicious .No complaints about food but service is poor.They made us wait for one hour just to get appetizers.I understand that the restaurant is new but it could be better managed.Their kitchen was under staffed.Ambience was good but the Air conditioner was not working.The quantity of dessert for the price is exorbitant.Hope this review is taken positively and improve the restaurant with the feedback.Would like to visit again for the food and hoping that will not have to wait this...
