WONDERFUL place for my son's small 8th birthday party. Worked with one of the owners, Sue, on the phone in advance. I had a ton of questions, and she was very patient and helpful. So was another owner, Rob, the day of our party. They allowed us to come in the day before to set up in the party room for no additional charge. Very reasonable room rental, but room rental is not needed for a party because they also have picnic tables beside the track that you can reserve with I believe a deposit. We used the party room to create a makeshift pedal car track for the younger siblings who were too young to drive the go-karts and do the laser tag. The owners allowed us to rearrange the chairs and tables in the party room and put down painter's tape on the floor for the outlines of a pedal car track (so long as it didn't leave a residue on the carpet, which it didn't). We provided our own pedal car and timed the kids going around our makeshift track while waiting for the go-kart races. Rob also hung a piñata in the party room for us using their own rope. They were very helpful and flexible. We ran over quite a bit in our use of the party room and clean up time (thankfully no one had the room reserved right after us), and the owners were very gracious about it. The staff did a great job and were always friendly, professional, and helpful. The instruction and care done by the people running the races were top notch. They were patient and explained things well to our 8 year olds and the other kids who were racing. They make safety the priority, which is good because the kids' races (8-11 years of age) go up to 25 mph, so it could get dangerous quickly if the kids were not being supervised carefully by the staff. I love that the karts are electric powered because that allows the the track to be indoors (perfect for a January birthday party) without any gas fumes. At the end of each race, they give each driver a printout of his/her race stats, and they also display the stats and rankings during the race on monitors above the race track. The staff even give away free used go-kart tires to customers at the desk, which was a thrill to my son. The tires they give away appear to be still in very good condition, which to me indicates the karts are well maintained. My son has collected two so far and is working toward four to eventually build his own go kart with his dad. The gentlemen working there that we talked to about the tires were very knowledgeable about go karts and happy to explain about building your own to my son. You can tell the people working there have a passion for go kart racing. The place also offers an awesome laser tag room with a tunnel to go through to the other side and lots of hiding places and good supervision, foot bowling, arcade games, foosball, and ice hockey. Be sure to get there 15-30 minutes early the first time to get the racer(s) in the system, then sign the waiver, then take a photo. They can't sign up to race until that is done, so on a busy day, that might delay when your racers can do their first race. Also, helmets are wiped down between uses, and they provide freshly laundered head cloths for under the helmet to each driver. Can't recommend this place enough for a party or just family fun. We will be back regularly. My son and his...
Read moreNever again. I brought my son here to celebrate his birthday. We arrived at 3:30p and registered. We went to pay and were told our race starts at 4:30. We walked around and played games. Went outside and came back in to a small group in front of us in line. When it's our turn in line the cashier says they just bumped us in line (I assumed because he let them pay) so I said "okay when does the next race start?" 6:50p. Now I'm irritated but we want to race so we pay and I ask when should we return so we don't get bump? The answer was 6:30. So we go play games and watch races building excitement and anticipation for my son, it being his first time. 6:30 finally comes and we go to the briefing area. The race that was going ends. He tells the drivers "you guys will be going right back out" so I'm confused but still waiting. That race ends and a junior race goes. Then the adults come back and they race again. Now it's 7p and I go ask the attendant why we haven't been called. He says I'd have to ask the cashier. I go speak to the cashier who is signing someone up for the very next race. He finally looks up and decided to see why I'm standing there and I ask why we've been there since 4 and haven't raced yet. He said "online reservations are bumping us" how can a online reservation bump someone who's standing there and already paid. So not risking getting bumped from the 7:30p slot and completely losing my mind I asked to be refunded the $54 I paid. I was told he couldn't refund $12 of it because it was a "membership fee" bruh I don't want a membership to this place what good does it do me? So no. I will never return nor will I recommend this place to anyone. Thanks for pissing me off and ruining my...
Read moreI hope this reaches Rob, or the co owner… Walking in to go in and have fun and a 2012/2013 red Honda Accord was parked right in front of the doors. We didn't think nothing of it until my little brother and his friends got up to the door to walk in, as they were waiting for the rest of us the accord takes off flying almost hitting me, and 3 of our family members. Come to find out it was the front desk lady’s boyfriend. When we had told her, her boyfriend nearly hit 3 of us because he was being arrogant to which SHE CHUCKLED then talked about how he thinks he has a fast car and can do anything including drifting… EXCUSE ME that accord is a front wheel and NOT even a v6. I really hope this gets discussed so no other family or party’s get hurt. I say that because not only could he have hurt us, but also because majority of us carry and jumping to avoid being hit could be taken as a threat. Lastly, We were a party of 11, 8/9 spots are available total for the track… Each time they only took us in 6-8’s. Meanwhile their employee was sent out 3/4 races not only taking one of the slots that could’ve been filled with us but with no limits to their cart but to ours we had limits. Their employee that was sent out on the track had purposely hit and and blocked us players. This was for a birthday and they knew it too yet they didn’t care or show any compassion. We payed over $300, we’re a racing family from dirt bikes, to cars so we know the challenges but this was just unfair for my little brothers birthday. I truly hope the owner...
