First time going to a game. It will be my last. So disappointing. Alot of details over looked. This was really our first time out after covid isolation and was really looking forward to it, so we got there early understanding that you could enter stadium at 5 for a 6 o'clock start time. Parking for handicap was nice and close. Alot of people standing waiting to enter and it was 5:20. Asking when we could go in I found out there was an earlier game because of a rain out and our game was not to start till 6:45!!! No communication or information from staff until I inquired. People coming behind me were just as puzzled! We did have nice seats behind home plate for a good price. Once the game did start it kind of felt like a circus. Way to much music, silly pictures of the players on the big board. I love baseball but just could not follow the game with all the silliness. Then there was the food lines, long wait time for a hamburger that was worse than what I remember from high school!!!!!! Yuck!!!! We spent $100.00 and consider it a total waste of our time and money. My husband had such a good point acknowledging that we love baseball but there was no respect shown to the game itself, much less the players.Great idea but terrible delivery. Its all about the details and the scorecard reads a 1...
Read moreWe went on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Our tickets were in the Hop section. This means, all you can drink and eat, and alot of uncovered seating in the sun. Yes, you read that right, you can drink unlimited beer and soda and water along with hot dogs, brats, sliders, chips. It was an amazing deal. I wasn't ready to sit in the sun all day, but brought sunscreen just in case (thank god otherwise i would be crispy right now). We can see the field pretty well from our table (first come first seated) but we have to look behind us to see the scoreboard and screen, but it's not too bad. They have alot of fun giveaways and promotions to keep your attention and make the game fun. Today's game included a candy drop on the field for kids after the game. The candy was dropped by a helicopter! That was pretty cool. They have fireworks on some other nights after games too. I am already looking forward to going back. The other seats around the field all looked nice, the only shade was...
Read moreWe went to the Leinenkugel Hop Yard section and were very disappointed. While the $35 for "unlimited food and drinks" seems attractive, I do not think we will come back.
1 - There is not enough space for the people they allow into this section to sit down. Since there were no tables or chairs for everyone, many people had to stand or sit on the ground.
2 - The line to get food and drinks was unbearable. As soon as you got a drink or food item, you had to go back in line. By the time you finish what you were consuming, you would be close to order again.
3 - They ran out of food early and often. By the 3rd inning they were out of brats and only had hot dogs. Potato chips were almost always empty and I never saw anyone refill the watermelon.
4 - Drinking cups were only 12oz. Between ice or foam, you were only drinking about 6-8oz at most per cup.
5 - No bathrooms in this area.
6 - If you want a soda or water, you have to stand in line for it instead of having a...
