Umbrella Bar — Restaurant in Franklin

When we arrived at the bar I asked if there was a drink menu as I had never been before, and the girls working behind the bar were seriously so snotty. They replied immediately with an aggressive "no." I said "hmmm okay what are my options?" The one girl then goes "anything you see here, liquor or beer." Her tone was seriously so rude, so dismissive I honestly couldn't believe it. Like ummm okay.... Thanks? I couldn't believe how snotty they were. Instead of being rude like that maybe offer some suggestions or ask what I like? It was 4:30 and not busy at all, she definitely had time to spend an extra 30 seconds to help me. There were 5 of us in our group and we were all very shocked at the way they were talking to me/us.

Anyways, the ambiance sitting at the tables was nice. The view was pretty and I'd go back in the future, but I hope those girls have an attitude adjustment next time. I mean come on, you work in hospitality. If you don't want to be nice to customers go work...

This is a great place with lots to do. Corn hole sets are set up on the west side. The stage for local bands is to the east and in the middle there is a large fire pit lots of tables and seating by the water feature. Oh, did I mention the bar in the round at the center of it all.

Thursdays are for food trucks nestled to the south and all of this is on a hill with one of the most romantic spots to see a sunset that I have ever been to. I've been there probably about 8 - 10 times and the sunset hasn't let me down but twice because of overcast skies.

Literally within walking distance there is a brand new state of art golf range, baseball fields including the Milkmen home field. I have been to the outdoor movies here too.

Fun little outdoor bar to hang out with friends and family. No food service is available on site except when they might request a food truck (I'm not sure how often a food truck will be available or even if it's only there during special events). I was told by a bartender that you may order food for your guest to be delivered on site. Would love to see them construct a small food venue on site; really wouldn't need to be big, just a quick service window. The sun sets come right across this location which made it difficult to enjoy the view let alone look around without being totally blinded in the evening. Either go when it is cloudy or remember sun glasses if you visit during sunset hours. The fire pit and small waterfall-pond are nice touches to what is already such an amazing outdoor space.
