I've been here a total of 4 times before I wrote this review. I think the staff really needs to be more communicative. The very first time I went which was like 2 months ago I made reservations on a Thursday during the day for that same night. Keep in mind I live in Kenosha, I drove to Luxe very excited just to get there and for it to be closed. I called many times and no answer. I was really disappointed. Second time came around, made reservations again. Everything went good. I loved the music, the atmosphere was great, servers were good. Really made up for the first time. Third time was just as good. The fourth time was last night. 03/24/2023. I called ahead of time because my friend was coming into town all the way from Wyoming. I brought a total of 10 friends to enjoy the night. I was hyping this place up that its fun and a good place. The lady that i talked to said they were fully booked but walk ins are welcomed I asked what time was their last walk in and they said around 10:30 but if wanted to come between 9:45-10pm I would be able to get a table and bowl for like 2 hours. I was super stocked, had everyone drive there. When I got there at 9:49pm ish, I told them what the lady said over the phone and the guy who helped me said sorry unfortunately the last time they were taking walk ins was at 9:30 and cant let anyone else in. He said he can ask his manager Then the manager proceeds to walk up to the desk and says yea due to the amount of customers here we stopped taking walk ins at 9:30. She said we are more than welcome to stay at the bar if we'd like, that's if were old enough. (which we are) I then said I just wanted to golf, we didn't come here to drink. All she said was "yea were sorry." then the guy chimes in and says you can come back tomorrow we should be open late tomorrow. All I said was no I'm okay. Thank you. Now I had to explain to all my friends that why we couldn't golf. We ended up going to Round1. Where they are actually open late and never close early. I feel like you guys should have better set hours. I wonder how many other people have had similar experiences like me. What made no sense was how were they fully booked but still...

Reserved a bay for my husband’s birthday and our family. In total we had a group of 5. My reservation shared it was for a birthday. When our server came to “greet” us to start our reservation, they asked if we had ever been here before to which we responded no, it was our first time and it was in celebration for a birthday. Instead of saying welcome or even acknowledging the birthday, they had just responded with “okay” and if we knew what we were wanted to order. Didn’t care to share any recommendations or give us an idea of how to get started or even some food or drink options for a large group. We asked if there were drink specials and they replied no. I asked if they had and pitchers or buckets of drinks and their response was “oh yeah, we have some of those.”

Overall, the golfing aspect and set up was a great time. The value was there for the price of the bay reservation but was mostly disappointed in the service.

We were the end bay so it seemed we were forgotten about as they never stopped in to check on us unless we flagged them down for service. The bay does provide you with a notification on extending your play time if you wish but no one comes to speak to you and offer additional service at that time or if you wish to close your tab.

At the end of our reservation time, we waited almost 10 minutes before we flagged down a few table bussers to get our server’s attention. Overall, would likely return but hope we are met with a lot...

Good service from our server Carmen, she was attentive and friendly. We had a bigger party and rented two bays for a surprise birthday. What wasn’t so great was the first floor had been left to warm up for hours before opening, but it was snowing and a cold wind could be felt constantly. Not exactly ideal, especially with kids. Should have been warned upon booking those could be the conditions. They gave us the option to move up a floor, check in gave us the wrong floor so we lost some time waiting for a worker to let us know where we should have gone.

Food is basic bar food, did its job in feeding people but wouldn’t call it great. Food pricing was reasonable.

We ended up extending after an hour, but the floor manager seemed too urgent to just get us out when we were just served our food. Make that make sense. How are you going to kick us out of the bays when we didn’t get a chance to eat yet? He was also rude in lying about getting us more plates. The plates never came. You’re the manager, manage your staff’s customer service.

Also didn’t like their auto-tip calculator including the cost of renting the bays. That’s over $200 that, as a former server myself, wouldn’t feel entitled to bc the server isn’t my golf caddy telling me how to improve my swing.

All in all, the kids and adults had fun, but didn’t enjoy getting rushed out. They should be booking 90 minute slots instead to accommodate for their slow...

Luxe Golf Bays: Relatively new to the Milwaukee area, Luxe opened in August of 2022. The driving range is 250 yards long, three stories tall, and boasts an impressive 57 bays. Did I mention there is also two restaurants and a beer garden? For those of you familiar with "Top Golf" locations, Luxe is a similar concept as it differs slightly from a standard driving range by offering more of an "experience" or social event. It's not simply who can hit the ball the furthest as a number of games can be played involving the different target zones. Bays are priced at an hourly rate (which varies on the time of day and day of the week), so it's best to go as a group as like most things golf, it can get expensive relatively quickly. There is also an additional $5 for "new members". Although it can be a pricey experience, I am glad that there is finally something like this in the Milwaukee area. Luxe Nachos: Being the foodie that I am, I had to try at least one item while we golfed (even if I wasn't hungry enough to get a full entree). My brother actually ordered these nachos and was nice enough to share. The Luxe nachos are comprised of homemade chips, queso, roasted corn, green onions, avocados, jalapenos, steak, sweet red peppers, and sour cream. There were four of us picking at it and we still didn't finish, so you get quite a lot. Doughboy approved. Doughboy_Food_Reviews

Family had a great time. We spent 4 hours there and ordered various beverage and food items while playing. The pretzel bites, nachos, chicken/bacon/ranch wrap are excellent. The beverages I ordered were good and bonus - they have Coke Zero. THANK you for having at least one Zero option. The food prices are VERY reasonable. I see a lot of reviews regarding mechanical issues. They can happen anywhere when doing anything. We had a lot of balls not register also. So what? You get another ball. I do however, believe Luxe needs to test and remove balls with bad sensors more often. They get hit repeatedly, on every side, by people with wildly different swings. They eventually go bad. The only actual issue we had was that there is zero instruction on how to use them. They did ask if we had ever been there before, but unless you're giving instruction, what's the point in asking? So it took us halfway through our first 2 hours to realize you need to align the monitor/ball tracker with how your bay is oriented to the target area. Once we figured THAT out our shots were precise and we had actual targets to aim for (and I said "precise." That doesn't mean they were "good."😜). The cost per person refers to all food and beverages, as well as what was spent on the actual golf times. There were 8 of us in the group and it was just over $50/person.
