We got a bunch of Halloween decorations here. Terri, or Terry, or however you spell her name rang us up. My wife asked if they could price match and she rudely responded, while rolling her eyes, "it really shouldn't matter." Then she looked at the cashier next to her and laughed and continued to shake her head/roll her eyes. She then proceeded to call for the manager and said "I need a price match." While again rolling her eyes and having a rude attitude. The manager came up and apologized they were not able to price match. That's not an issue at all, really. We will pay full price for an item. However, customer service is key and Terri, Terry, however you spell it did not succeed in that area. If you don't know how to interact with the public then don't work in the public industry.

Prices are expensive and the store is not well kept. You will have better luck at TJ Maxx or Marshals.

I've always been a fan of Home Goods, but I’m more of a fan now due to an employee who went above and beyond. I recently relocated to the Franklin area and have been gradually decorating my new home.

One of the employees kindly directed me to Natalie, who turned out to be incredibly creative. Although she had just finished her shift and was heading out, she took the time to help me for 15 minutes. She picked out some fantastic items that truly made a difference. So good, that my wife even liked them. Got to love an experience with an employee who is passionate about her job and helping others.

I bought a small dish from another homegoods out of town. I noticed there was a small crack in the side so I came here since this is my local homegoods to exchange it. They said their manager refuses to take damaged items from another store. I called the other store and they said I should be able to return it anywhere. I still have my receipt, my item has original tags and I even found multiple of the same dish so I could exchange. Doesn’t make sense to me because every other store allows you to return to any of their stores. Sounds like the manager didn’t want to help me. Their managers policy...
