Outlaw Smoke BBQ — Restaurant in Fraser

This may end up being a bit of a long review, but I would like to share because of an extraordinary experience from start to finish.

I picked up carryout trays of Outlaw Smoke for the first time to cater a small/medium size work function; admittedly, mostly due to them being open on a Monday. I was in a pinch, and the owner worked with me to setup great options for the event within extremely limited time. I ended up presenting dishes to both employees and clients that led to many coming up to me personally to ask "where did you get this BBQ?!" Needless to say, this was an absolute hit!

Pricing was very reasonable. The quantity supplied given the number of people I was catering to was more than enough for everyone, including many to go back for seconds, even thirds, AND pack some to-go containers!

The food was both unique, and OUTSTANDING. Flavors are not just your typical smokehouse. Personal touches and care has been taken with all of the prepared food and it proves itself with every bite. Everything was cooked to perfection with a ton of creativity.

FYI - I ordered trays of pulled pork, chicken, mac&cheese, beans, and slaw.

As far as I'm concerned I plan to move all of my BBQ catering needs to Outlaw...

OK I never do reviews. but this food is extremely delicious!! This is not like all other BBQ places. Your taste buds are in for a real treat . I had the pork pulled tacos what a wonderful combo of flavors, pork was so tender, these are large not taco bell size. I also ordered the Texas Platter with added sausage, all meat was very tender and enjoyed their sauce. The sausage has a a little bit of a bite to it which is fine with me. I had all the sides they were all extremely flavorful. The beans are not real sweet so you can really taste the beans, potato salad is really close to my recipe so I enjoyed it, the coleslaw is crisp and refreshing, I had the plain mac and cheese it's different not real saucy which I prefer but the noodles are cooked perfectly and soaked up the cheese it is not dry, tasty. Pickled onions and pickles came with the platter, even the pickles were good and crisp and dilly. I never had pickled onions before they are good. I must return and try the other goodies on the menu....

I needed to pickup something for supper and stopped here based on the reviews since it was on my way home. I got a pound of brisket, large mac n cheese, and small beans. The brisket is amazing. Very flavorful and moist. The beans were delicious. They're different than any beans I've had at a bbq joint. The beans were tender and, along with whatever else they've cooked them with, there are small pieces of bell pepper in the mix. I like bell pepper, but I usually don't like it added to other food. I just like it raw. But this added great flavor and made the beans a must have for me in the future. I only got a small container cuz so often I end up not liking the beans. But I loved their beans and a large container would not have gone to waste. The mac n cheese is good. Not great, not bad.
