Central Jersey Pools Patio & More — Attraction in Freehold Township

Last year, we contacted CJP to build an inground pool for our new home. From start to finish - and into this current spring season - our experience has been phenomenal.

Jerry was amazing! He was the first person we met at CJP. He was patient in answering all our questions and did not try to push us into any upsells. He understood our budget and respected our limits, guiding us through options that fit comfortably within it. We really appreciated that. Throughout the process we were in contact with Jerry - this was not a situation where a salesperson closes the deal and hands us off to the development team - this was experience where we knew Jerry was invested in the customer relationship, providing us with ongoing consistent support throughout. Impressive!!

Jerry introduced us to Neil who oversaw the pool construction process. Neil was super responsive and accurate with all the details he shared which eased my anxiety. We had about a dozen town inspections and despite hearing nightmare stories from friends that used other pool companies, the CJP team ensured we passed every single one on the first round! Our neighbors were all shocked! No one believed we'd complete the project in the time estimated, but sure enough we did! In 8 weeks, we were swimming in our new pool!

Patti is our main contact and is so pleasant and accommodating. She always responds timely and has even been able to adjust scheduling when the unexpected arises. Patti's kind demeanor is a true representation of the level of customer service CJP provides their customers. Patti has set the bar high!

Billy made sure we were fully trained on our new pool equipment and even made himself available on facetime to help us troubleshoot an issue we were having. He was very knowledgeable and treated us like family ensuring we were well taken care of.

John helped us close our pool and fix an issue we were having this year when opening this month. He came out and spent time troubleshooting, exhausting all possible causes and sure enough his efforts paid off and resolved our problem! He even let us know if we had any troubles, to call and he'd come back. Luckly, we did not have to, John successfully fixed the matter, and we haven't had a problem since!

Dotty has helped us many times now in-store. We opted for the salt system and are getting used to the management of it (which is actually very easy) but it is still new for us, so we are being cautious in testing our water regularly. Dotty has helped us to keep our water balanced giving us tips and explaining the process. This education has been very helpful!

We are so appreciative of all the other staff that have helped us along the way. It is truly a team effort from CJP team and cannot thank them enough for proving us with our dream pool!

When that time of the year comes to open or close the pool Central Jersey Pools, is always the company I trust to get the job done right! Everyone at this company is such a pleasure to deal with. Patti sets up the schedule and always has a kind word to share. Daniel is consistently prompt and professional, always taking extra time to explain every step of the process. I take my water samples to Dottie who is very well-informed and helpful with suggesting the correct chemicals to ensure crystal clear water throughout the summer season. The Central Jersey Pools team assist with an easy, smooth, and stress-free transition into and out of summer but what really stands out about this company is the excellent care and service they provide if you happen to run into a problem. For the last few years I have dealt with Raheem, who has replaced the motor of my hot tub and helped with other issues along the way. I have never met anyone who goes so above and beyond. He patiently breaks down every step and even gives me tips and advice to help prevent potential future problems. We want to recognize the two servicemen who opened our pool this morning (May 30, 2025) : Raffaello and Guerimo. These two men went above and beyond what we expected as "good" service. We encountered two issues with our in-ground pool opening. First, we had a non-funtioning filter motor. These two servicemen UNDERSTOOD THE STRESS AND ANXIETY OF BEING WITHOUT A FUNCTIONING FILTER FOR A WEEK AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON. So, without asking, they volunteered to return to the shop and pick up a new pump which they installed quickly and efficiently. Kudos for their initiative! Secondly, we had an out of control geyser coming from an unglued PVC pipe. They resolved the geyser by quickly glueing the ends together in a matter of minutes. We thought these two issues would stand in the way of having an operational filter today. We couldn't afford to wait a week for a re-scheduled appointment, (our green pool water would have quickly become thick with algae without filtration). We were very impressed and pleased with the profesional and courteous service that far exceeded our expectations and eliminated our stress and anxiety. We highly commend Raffaello and Guerimo.
