My sons and I stopped here when we were driving down to the jetport from central Maine and, unexpectedly, had extra time to spend. We wanted a bathroom break, to stretch our legs, and to get some fresh air. We used the restroom, which was clean, functional, and stocked with TP, but it was so dark inside and I didn't see a overhead light. I kept the door held open for my boys to see their ways around. After that we walked along the trails behind the pavilion. The trails were lovely, quiet, and well-maintained. The trail winds its way back behind businesses and houses and a brook runs along it. The walkways are wide and shaded by beautiful trees. We didn't go close to the pavilion but a couple was seated there eating and it looked nice. I would go back again if we end up in the area. Read moreThis is a very nice park. We went there for a class with Thinkerdarten and totally loved it. It was winter time I’m sure it would be nicer in the other seasons. It has a small parking but plenty of space with street parking. I love it also because it’s located very close to the LLBean store and the Freeport shopping area. That makes it a perfect location for any weather.
