Wanderlust is a hidden (literally) gem in Freeport. Their smoothies, juices, bowls, and food (waffles, bagels, sandwiches) are incredible. Yes, they’re priced accordingly, but you actually get what you pay for. Every single bite and sip are worth it. This is a family operated business that goes above and beyond to provide excellent service and makes sure to not take any shortcuts in order to provide the highest quality for each of their menu items.

Their other secret is that they brew the best… yes THE BEST coffee in town. All of their coffee drinks are prepared with Bard Coffee from Portland, and despite the fact that they don’t provide a full barista experience, the coffee is far superior to any other option in town.

So there you go… go half a block out of your way and discover the best smoothies, juices, and breakfast food in Freeport. Oh… and did I mention...

First off I knew this type of place wasn’t for my husband but he willingly went with me back I wanted to try one of the bowls. My bowl was delicious but everything else…. Not so much I love an iced coffee but couldn’t even drink it. My husband got an egg sandwich on sourdough (he’s not a bagel guy) and not sure it was even an egg… 🥴 the worst part of the experience was when they gave us my husbands espresso we asked it be warm not hot hot. He took a sip and it burnt his tongue so bad… but that’s not even the issue bc coffee is hot 🤣 when I asked him of it was good he said it had no flavor so I lifted the lid and it was BOILING hot water! There was no apology just ohh that’s not for you… needless to say if we go back, I’ll just be getting a bowl...

It was all about clean eating at Wanderlust Juicery in Freeport, Maine. I was warmly greeted by the owner, Michele and employee Stapley. The menu offerings consisted of smoothies, smoothie bowls, salads and toasts, coffees, espresso and teas and juice popsicles. I ordered the Acadia Açaí bowl ($13.95), which included; açaí, blueberries, strawberries, orange, banana, granola, coconut and chia seeds. This bowl was fresh and delicious, hitting every textural note. All of the varied fruits were succulent! The freshness and quality of the bowl ingredients are unmatched. Freeport definitely needed a fresh, healthy, organic cold pressed food/drink option like Wanderlust Juicery. I cannot...

Found this absolute gem in Freeport thanks to its current and WELL-deserved 4.9 rating. There were so many appetizing things on the menu, we had to go a little overboard with ordering, and we're so glad we did! Everything was just phenomenal. The Blueberry Ricotta Pistachio Toast is one of the best things I've ever tasted. Staff was extremely friendly with smiles all around, and the overall vibe of the place was just perfect! Made me wish we had something even remotely similar near us, but we will definitely find a reason to go back!
