Hidden jewel of a park tons of Shoreline you can walk up and down the Mississippi River, located just a block off East River Road in Fridley. There is a visiting center, but we just went for a quick walk down the paths for a midday break. We didn't see any playground or swings for kids, which for some people would be a positive and others are negative. The paved trails are accessibility friendly, and there are tons of old and well-established trees. It seems like not very many parks have true Woods for kids to explore, but this park is definitely a hidden Jewel you should bring your kids to. It's reminiscent of heading up North and going hiking, but it's located right here in the...
