3-22-18 went shopping and to get some food after a horrible experience getting fuel here (seperate review). Usually Love Costco prices on their food court items but the new 5$ hamburger I got today was a major letdown. Wasn't good and wasn't even served hot enough to melt the cheese on it.. tomatoes were very low quality as was the lettuce. What's even worse is that they don't carry polish hotdogs anymore either for some terrible reason... oh well. Took forever to get one item at checkout as well. This Costco does not have self checkout lanes like some others do. So if you happen to be in a hurry and only getting a few items, expect to still wait forever. Waited nearly 20 minutes with a friend to get 1 item each.... between getting fuel in the horribly deigned gas station and getting below average hamburger and finding out they don't have polish hotdogs anymore to waiting an excessive amount of time for 2 items was a very disappointing Costco experience today... Usually much better but this location could do better.
The gasoline station layout NEEDS to be changed. The turn off the street is very dangerous as there is barely any room for cars to queue up in line before everyone has to wait in the lane on the street to turn onto the property. Not to mention the people trying to leave have to take some risky moves and attempt to turn out when you can't see on coming traffic from the people waiting in the road to get fuel... And the hamburger... The first thing off the menu I was genuinely disappointed with. Read moreI have spent over $50,000 the last two years at Costco and I went in recently to return some items that never worked correctly, and the ladies at the Return section had a very judgemental attitude from the beginning. One of the ladies began to ask me questions about why I was returning one of my items, even though I had already stated my reasoning. She also kept saying everything had to be complete since one of my items was missing a few pieces, mind you I have returned items at other Costcos and ever experienced this issue. I have even seen people return a half jar of pickles with no problem. Since I asked to talk to a manager she went to grab her, as soon as I saw them walking back towards the register I could tell they were getting ready to team up against me. It was super obvious they are good work friends and only cared about having each others back and not customer service. I was right because Karina, the manager, was even more unprofessional and would not answer my questions. She treated me like I had never spent a dime at Costco and was even trying to find issues with my other items. She refused to accept one of my returns because it was “incomplete” as she put it. And she insisted on giving me my refund to a debit card that I no longer had, I said I wanted cash and she said no she wanted to give me a gift card. It was obvious she just wanted to make my life difficult because for whatever reason she either was in a bad mood or she just did not like me. Very unprofessional lady! Read moreThis Costco is very well managed and the staff members are always friendly here. When you see the same staff for years, you know there is little turnover because of good management.
They have recently invested in new carts which are amazingly quiet and smooth, like cart Cadillacs. In my opinion, there is nothing much worse than a cart that makes a bunch of racket while you’re shopping.
It was quite busy on a Monday evening mid month, but they strive to be efficient and keep the lines moving. In fact, today a nice team member came along while I was waiting in line and she did a “pre-check.” I was third in line and she scanned my membership card and started scanning away. I was all checked out by the time I got to the clerk and I paid in a matter of seconds.
Had to make a stop at the photo center to pick up some pictures, which we uploaded the night before. We got all the right messaging and confirmation via email. Just as we got to the photo center, a gentleman scouted us, saw we needed help, and greeted us kindly and promptly. He immediately got our order ready for checkout, we paid and we were out of there.
Our quality control person on the way out was a gentleman who was extremely kind with his words and checked our receipt. Every bit of the way today was just confirmation and confirmation of a job being executed well by their entire team. That’s why I am doing my part and taking my time this evening writing this review on December 14 2020 at 7pm. Thank you Fullerton...
