I grew up in the bay area and I didn't really have access to any Chick-fil-A restaurants but I had always heard that the food is amazing. So whenever I'd come to SoCal I would give it a try. At the time I wasn't too impressed. I remember wondering what the big deal was. Back then I tried the wrap and Nuggets. Fast forward a few years and I now live in LA and have lots of opportunities to eat at Chick-fil-A. Now I've always heard your taste buds can change as you get older and that has been true for me (now I like grilled onions etc). My opinion has changed! To be fair, I do order different items now. I get the chicken deluxe sandwich, fries, and the frosted coffee (like a coffee shake) and sometimes the Chicken breakfast burrito. I cannot say enough how amazing it is! The sandwich itself is pretty basic, it's chicken, cheese, lettuce, and tomato. But the chicken tastes SO GOOD! It's nicely breaded and juicy and it's the perfect size. It's very flavorful. The bun is nice and soft and tasty. The fries are waffle fries, my favorite. I dip it in their ranch, which was great too. But oh my. The breakfast burrito. Think the best chicken Nuggets wrapped up in a yummy warm tortilla with melted cheese. It makes my mouth water. But I'd have to say my number 1 favorite thing is the frosted coffee!! This is coming from someone who hates the taste of coffee haha. For some reason I really like coffee ice cream. This frosted coffee is basically like an amazing coffee ice cream blended into a shake. It's smooth and creamy and just PERFECT! I suggest trying different things from the menu to see what you like, before you write it off like I originally did. 100% recommend the chicken breakfast burrito, frosted coffee, and chicken deluxe. Also, even though the restaurant is almost always busy, the service is always great. Very friendly cashiers and servers. It feels like you are being waited on at an...
Read moreThey seem friendly inside the store and my daughter always has the best time in the playland and i love the set up where the kids area is almost sound proof and tables outside are set up around it so you can easily check on your child during their play while eating but as I was walking to this place to meet a friend for lunch by myself I received a text message that my good friend had died the night before. It was a tragic moment I guess it stopped me in my tracks because all I recall is hearing three girls laughing at saying things out their drive thru window of their place of employment and it couldn't of been any more obvious it was derogatory and or sarcastic/rude. As if it wasn't bad enough but when I continued to walk and forced a gentle smile as I did not want to erupt on them for their immature and mean girl behavior, they got louder and more rude up until I made it to the crossing area at the end of drive thru and they realized I'm going to the restaurant. No apologies though, andnthat would have been enough for me. But that experience will forever keep me from wanting to go or for taking my daughter again. Beside that my child was refused a refill when she asked they seemed to give her the cold shoulder and say get an adult with no mind that I was only feet behind her and watching thw whole thing. Whether on purpose or unknowingly it was the worst experience I can recall of eating out in my life. If you're on the clock- be professional and watch for mean girl mentality and don't allow that in a place of business clearly centered on friendly and welcoming staff attitude and environment. My kids feelings hurt and an innocent bystander walking to get lunch harrassed for minutes as she processes a death in her close to family member friend. Not...
Read moreOur group was taking a while to order and we were holding up the line but everyone was so nice. The cashier, Hannah, was clearly new and a bit confused and I felt so bad! She was very polite and the managers were very nice and helping her. The managers seemed really caring. I was so sorry because our order was so confusing but she got it and was great. The person who brought our food had to take two trips because the basket only carried 3 orders. Felt so bad! Everyone was tired after their shift and just wanted to go home. So nice still! Food was pretty good. Got medium fries and twelve count chicken nuggets. Ate inside. Clean tables and god seating. Some parts of the restaurant was closed off. They forgot our sauce but it was definitely just an accident and gave us so much sauce when we asked. Like half a bag full. All staff is very patient, cooperative, and so so nice. Felt sorry they were probably dealing with groups like ours all day and people who are even ruder! Someone came and asked how we were doing which is pretty uncommon at fast food restaurants and I really appreciated it because they were closing in a few minutes but still took the time to make sure we were doing alright. They were very patient when we took a while to answer. I went up to the counter and asked what ingredients were in the chocolate chip cookie, and the cashier Hannah went and got the manager instead of just shooing me away or something. They were kind enough to print out something on the receipt machine and give me all the nutrition information. Very good cookie that has oats that I mistook for nuts. Cannot express enough how nice and patient the staff was, even so close to closing time. would give 100/5 for...
