Serendipity Consignment Boutique — Attraction in Fuquay-Varina

I had to wait about a month to bring in my items. That was the soonest appointment she had. I showed up exactly on time and was turned away because they do not take kids clothes. I quietly turned and walked away with my son. On of the girls working there came out and verified my name. Either way they don't take children's clothing. We left. I remembered on the drive home that I was specifically told when I called that they do not take Garanimals which is a kids line of clothes from Wal-Mart. So I called to let them know that whoever I scheduled with told me this. They proceeded to tell me maybe I called another store. No. You even came out and knew my name. I was transferred to the manager because she didn't like my tone. Wait what I'm frustrated and I'm calling to try and make sure the same mistake doesn't happen to someone else and now I'm getting blamed for the mistake!! I advised the manager that I know I called the right store because I live in the same town as the store so I know where I called plus the verification of my appointment after I left. She proceeded to act like it was my fault and tell me I was being unreasonable. I just hung up. Don't bother giving these unprofessional people...

I think this store is just awesome. The owners are always friendly and very professional. I see reviews that say that clothes are overpriced, but I think that those are just people who don't realize that they only take name brand clothing. They don't typically take used clothes from Target and stuff… Which is NICE for the rest of us who aren't looking to buy junk. I cosign clothes here and I think its just the best surprise to get a check in the mail after my clothes sell. The only thing is that I wish there was a much larger selection of younger clothing, as it seems the majority is middle age clothing, so Fuquay needs some young people to...

I am older and have a "rounder" figure so I didn't think I'd find anything in MY size or style. I bought a pair of blue suede shoes Elvis and I can sing about and two great blouses within minutes of walking into the store. Then when going to my car, I lucked out on a sales rack and bought two pair of pants! I've also got a couple of purses on my wish list. What a gem in Fuquay-Varina. Plus, the owner is gracious, kind and helpful. ...
