Let me start by saying the food and service is good. BUT we have been there 2 times now and each time we have reservations online with 5 or 6 people. Both times they have tried seating us at a 4 top booth. The first time we had to stand and wait an extra 20-25 min for a bigger table. This time we woke up our sleeping baby after having reservations for a 5 top. We went inside and they tried seating 3 adults and 2 toddlers at a 4 top. There was a bigger table available and as I went to ask about that table they were starting to seat someone. I asked the people who were being seated how many people they had and they said 6. So I let it be (although we should have had first dibs to the table). Come to find out they actually only had 2 adults, 2 kids and a car seat. THEY should have been given our table and we should have been given their table. They could have easily fit 4 people and the car seat on the end. Instead we had to wait another 30 min for a big table. Mind you, we woke up an 18 month old and we also had a 3 year old. So waiting inside a busy restaurant or waiting in general is a nightmare!!!
I am very hesitant to try this place again. We typically always have 5 people with us and I am tired of them trying to jam us into a 4 top. They should have at least called or text us to ask if it was ok or not. I understand a 4 top works sometimes with a kid on the end. But not with a VERY grabby 18 month old.
I gave it 4 stars because each time the food has been very good and so has the service. My husband got blueberry pancakes and I don’t like pancakes but they are the best I have ever had. (Although he had to have them re made because the first batch was almost still 100% raw inside.) I got the big Smokey melt and it was super good. Add raw onion if you get it! And our service Jose was perfectly attentive and was good on refills.
But We have an extremely bad taste in our mouths from the table issues and having to wait so much extra especially...

Appearance & Cleanliness: 5/5. Great location at what used to be a below average Rudino's Pizza. The restaurant was redone, fresh tile, fresh menus and fresh tables and furniture. Has a nice bar as well to sit at where you can see the action taking place throughout the whole restaurant. Silverware and cups were clean. Menus didn't have any syrup or bits of food in them (it's sad that is asking a lot of restaurants these days).
Service: 5/5. The staff was great. Everyone was attentive. I hope it's not something that goes away once the employees settle in. I was getting asked by waitresses not even serving me if I needed anything. Everyone was kind, and quick but not harassing. Meaning they gave us enough room to breathe without being in our face every 5 seconds. Food came out quick, and was well cooked. The grill staff and cooks in the back are working their butts off and you can see it through the order window.
Food: 4/5. I wanted to love the food. They have incredibly healthy options, fresh fruit (real fruit, not the canned stuff at iHop) and real devotion cooked in. My wife got the Red White & Blue Waffles while I got the Sweet Potato and Pecan Pancakes. My wife enjoyed her meal, while my pancakes tasted more like Wheat pancakes than any sweet potato I have ever had before in my life. They weren't thrilling. They were actually pretty bland and tasted a bit bitter (like I said, very much like wheat). I saw what other people ordered and man it looked good. Maybe I was just unlucky? I'll definitely be going back to try other food options. The caring and attentive staff, great food options, cleanliness and service was refreshing. I hope they can keep this up and they'll have a new permanent breakfast...
Read moreI took my kids here for breakfast before field day to fuel up. We always order the same things, and they’re usually great. I don’t know what happened since the last time we were there, but it was not good.
I ordered a home fry bowl with sour cream and salsa. They changed the salsa so it’s just onions, tomatoes, and peppers cut up in a little bowl with no sauce to it. I was disappointed, but wanted to make the best of it.
I opened the sour cream and plopped a scoop on top. Then the smell hit me. I know that sour cream doesn’t have the most pleasant smell, but this was rank. Again, I was trying not to ruin the kids’ fun breakfast, so I scraped it out onto the bottom plate and tried to put it to the side. It smelled so bad I had to ask the waitress to take it away. She sniffed it and looked at me like I didn’t know what I was talking about.
My son ordered a waffle with strawberries, bananas, and whipped cream on top (he gets this because he doesn’t like syrup.) He tried it and immediately started picking the strawberries off. They were both either too sour to eat or overripe. He also ordered a side of scrambled eggs, which came underdone and “juicy.”
My daughter did enjoy her kids meal, which is the only reason I gave two stars instead of one. I don’t think I’ll be back. That’s sad because we used to enjoy family...
