The Downtown Gainesville Square is a great place to visit with something for everyone. From nationally recognized sandwiches, sports bars, delicious pizza, international food,, craft beers and wine tasting to dress shops, beauty salons and a barber. You can grab a book, view some art or just sit in the shade and enjoy the scenery. There is a self guided walking tour of a scale model of our solar system and historic buildings and monuments to see and learn from. A block outside of the square you have Federal and County Cout Houses, escape rooms, dance studios, rock & roll dinners and one of the best burgers in Hall County. Two whole coffee shops (one third wave, one fourth [you know who you are!]), Atlas Pizza, featuring an incredible jerk pie (do NOT skip the pineapple), Downtown Taps, a super crunchy, dog-friendly, OG beer slinger with genuinely interesting brews, and much more.
