Pure Aesthetics — Attraction in Gainesville

Pure Aesthetics is the best hidden gem of Gainesville. I spent the last decade moving around and traveling throughout the nation and have had aesthetic treatments at so many med spas and salons that I have lost count. Pure Aesthetics is hands down one of the highest quality experiences you will ever receive. From the moment you walk in the door, there are multiple receptionists who began greeting me by name on only my second visit. The atmosphere immediately calms you when you walk into the lobby, you will feel like you are about to have a massage! They always offer water, champagne, or a collagen drink (even if you are running late to your appointment, like I have unfortunately done more than once!)

I can only speak to the services of Kelsey (electrolysis) and Lindsey (Coolsculpting Elite) from personal experience, but I am fully confident in saying that my experience every single appointment over the past few months is indicative of the entire staff. I cannot exclaim my praise for either of these women loudly enough. No matter what area of the body you would like to learn more about treatment for, everyone at Pure Aesthetics has an in-depth knowledge of the services offered and will never pressure you into booking a treatment or purchasing a product whatsoever.

I was especially impressed to learn that all staff members that offer treatments must work the front desk for a period of time to learn how the office (and schedule) operates and to interact with the clients. I think this is the greatest idea from a Human Resources perspective (which I happen to have my Bachelor’s degree in ) and ensures that any information given over the phone is well-informed, and not simply a reiteration of the menu of services offered which you can read for yourself online.

If you are seeking a treatment of an area but are not quite sure if you’d like to go the surgical route, the building is shared with Gaines Plastic Surgery. I cannot personally attest to Dr. Gaines, as I have not had any surgeries at this location, but this is truly an incredible partnership that allows clients to pursue all their aesthetic or cosmetic procedures in one place, with staff they are already comfortable with greeting them and offering a plethora of experience, knowledge, and services along the way.

Lastly, I feel it would be remiss not to mention the personal touch and genuine care that the staff has for each and every client. A few months ago, I had a personal emergency which left me without my cell phone, and I ended up “no-call, no-show-ing” two appointments in a row. Instead of blocking me from scheduling further appointments, both Kelsey and Lindsey showed immediate, unwavering care and concern and welcomed me back to my appointments as soon as I was able to make contact again. Of course, I hope such an incident never happens to anyone else, but many Med Spas that I know of would enforce a strict cancellation policy with no questions asked, but not here. When I come here, I know that I’m not only trusting my body with experts and professionals at their specialties, but trusting my overall wellbeing to a team that genuinely wants to see everyone look, feel, and achieve their best.

I recommend anyone who is even considering a treatment at Pure Aesthetics to visit the website and at a minimum, get on the email list, as there is a new special each month, and the treatment you’re eyeing might be next on the list for a discount!  Special or not, my experiences here have been worth...

Im really sad to update my last 5 star review with a 1 star review. I genuinely really loved this place and am extremely disappointed with how i was treated with a situation that occurred, especially after spending hundreds of dollars here.

I came in for a consultation to get filler in the bridge of my nose to straighten my bridge & lift the tip. I was told 1/2 a syringe would be perfect for my nose.

The day of the appointment my injector Katie did not put the full amount (1/2 a syringe like we discussed) in my nose. A week later my nose absolutely needed a touch up (which she never informed me that i may need). I called to ask if i could come in for a touch up & they told me it would be MINIMUM $200.

At this point i felt robbed. I would have not cared for the touch up or the price if i had gotten what i paid for IN MY NOSE. But since i didn't get the full 1/2 syringe, i knew i needed to talk to management to figure this out.

This is where it gets bad.

I requested to speak to management & was told Allison would reach out to me. Instead, Katie (my injector) called me. This conversation was awful & extremely disrespectful. I record all my calls for work purposes & can share them with management if they request them.

Katie hung up on me mid conversation, was speaking over me, interrupting me when i would speak & i was nothing but nice to her this entire conversation.

It got to the point where i needed to deescalate this situation & I told her I didn't even want to talk to her in the first place, that i wanted to talk to MANAGEMENT. She then relayed the message to Allison (manager)

Allison did not call me for WEEKS. I would call EVERY DAY trying to get a hold of her & they would tell me the same thing "shes not here right now". When she would call me it would be on "no caller ID" or would do a ringless voicemail method where my phone wouldn't ring & she would just leave a voicemail.

I ended up sending an email in between this all & was thrown money. "$150 for any service I want" Unfortunately this is extremely offensive after everything i went the through with Pure Aesthetics. It was never about the money, it was the principle of the situation.

I work with different medical spas across the country & have never seen something like this. This is not the behavior of a top tier med spa, & I am extremely disappointed in this company, please do better.

Also if the owner wants all the proof i have of this situation don't hesitate to call...

Okay so I had my first microneedling appointment on Saturday, I felt safe with the aesthetician, her name is Mason Keeter I hope I got your name correct. She is very knowledgeable, and truly cares about making sure you are safe, and the process was thoroughly explained. I am in awe of the Medi Spa and the way that I have been treated you can tell that each and every one of the aesthetician's here wants you to feel beautiful and wants you to love the skin that you are in. Thank you, Mason, for your encouraging words and making me feel safe again. I highly recommend Pure Aesthetics I am looking forward to my next session.

Such a welcoming environment. I was able to speak with Alex Hollingsworth about my skin concerns. She made me feel so secure. I really appreciated her incites. Thank You. I am still deciding what to do next, but at least left a bit more hopeful.

Though the second microneedling cause irritation to my skin, I really hoped the irritation would have at least been reevaluated and something else to be done about it. My skin is sensitive, but I felt leaving me somewhat in the cold like that made me a little disheartened. The acne breaks out from the second microneedling made me more depressed. I understand you do not want to no longer care for my skin but small treatments for the acne that is now all over my face would have been somewhat helpful. I trusted you all to assist with the severity of my condition and to reduce further unsightly issues. I still have to walk around with anything that goes wrong. But seeing what could have at least revert what went wrong with the second treatment of microneedling would have been different. Even some mild extractions of the acne that came or even a gentle facial cleanse would have sufficed. I am disappointed in that part and being that I already been through enough I was really hopeful, I don't see how the vitamins will fix the surface of the skin that was irritated by the microneedling, and I do not think that was fair to me. Though I comprehend why you no longer want to work on my skin, for the results from the second microneedling I feel more effort should have been place in correcting what went...
