The food is EXCELLENT!! Teriyaki chicken was fresh, and good size portion for the cost. The sushi was fresh, and tasted amazing!! Also I got 2 rolls for under $12 that I usually get at Bento and are $12 EACH!! I’m obsessed with this place! The customer service was also great and my food was packed very well with all the condiments I requested!!

The years have not been kind to Maui Large bowls with extra chicken is what their small bowl was just a few years ago for $11 no longer an inexpensive meal and a large serving The quality of the chicken has gone way down imo but it’s the only one around Love Maui just not it’s current version

Excellent experience. A group of us came here for the first time. The staff was so helpful and the food was great. The restaurant was very clean, service was quick, very good price and portion, and the flavor was spot on.

First time visit. I was looking for a good Hawaiian plate lunch. However, this restaurant doesn't serve traditional Hawaiian plate lunches.

I had the Chicken Katsu, which was different from how I've had it many times at different places in other states, including Hawaii.

The katsu was surprisingly delicious (ono), It appears as if they cooked it in a sauce instead of providing a traditional katsu sauce for dipping.

I was unable to order any sushi during my visit as they stated they were shorthanded on labor.

Would I return, yes, and I would order the katsu again before trying any new dishes. It...

This is by far one of Gainesvilles absolute GEMS 💎 it is beyond nutritional, and the flavor and taste of the simplistic “Steak & Chicken” bowls. Will completely BLOW your mind!!! I have been coming here for years, and will continue to do so!!! The staff & Management are the very best kinda human beings anyone would ever want to be around or deal with! The quality of the food will surpass your expectations by far! I would recommend the large teriyaki Chicken bowl, or the Large steak Bowl with a side of fried dumplings!!! I love supporting small family owned businesses and my only requirement is that the food is delicious as prices could never deter me away from my selective sense. Well, I must say that MAUI teriyaki and Sushi on N.W 75th (Tower road) off Newberry rd in Gainesville, Florida did NOT disappoint.
