EVERY time I go here it takes forever or my food is wrong. There's always the same woman at the window late night. My gf & I order #1 combo w/cheese & Chik combo w/NO pickles. Every time, they either leave pickles on the chiks or they leave pickles & condiments off both meals! We have to repeat our order several times to actually place the order & it's wrong anyway! Each time, we are waiting at the window for a minimum of 5 minutes before they take our money or give us drinks(they have to ask again what drink we had).
Tonight, we pulled up to order with only one car ahead of us. repeated our order 3 times to the rep(even though we spoke clearly & slowly). Then we waited 25 minutes behind 1 vehicle where we saw a rep come to the window only twice before they had the car pull ahead & wait. We get to the window & wait another 5 minutes to see the same lady that always takes our order wrong and screws something up. She said they were transitioning to breakfast so they had to cook our food. Why? We had been waiting 25 minutes already! The rep even asked if we wanted cheese on the chiks when we had placed our order and did not even ask for it!!
Finally, we get our order 15 minutes later & there was NO mayo on the chiks and they left the pickles on them. My burgers were smashed, and the meat was dry and old... I thought they were making my order fresh?!?! Half the fries were fresh but the other half were hard as a rock. It was as if they took old fries and fried them again.
I asked the rep if she could discount our meal for the wait and the wrong order. She pushed back so I told her she needed to of us being there for 40 minutes and that we have an issue with our order EVERY SINGLE TIME we come there. She only took off $2. I have wasted SO MUCH time and money on wrong orders. I will never visit this location again. I have never had problems with any other location. It seems to be directly linked to this lady that works there. She is ALWAYS the one taking orders and such. I think she may even be management!
Don't go to this location. If I am craving Krystals again, I will just go out of town or just not eat them at all. You have...
Read moreI don’t know who the BBQ sauce fanatic is that works here is, but they need to go to work at the bbq shack or something. For the second time I got my order smothered in bbq sauce! The first time last week I ordered a burger combo and the only thing the burgers had on them was bbq sauce that I didn’t want and didn’t order. I chalked it up to an order mix up and ate my fries and chucked the nasty stale burgers. Tonight a twelve piece hot wings was ordered. Nothing else. Simple right? Yeah, not at this place. Wound up waiting twelve minutes for hot wings that turned out to be “boneless wings” smothered in......... That’s right, frakin BBQ SAUCE!!!!!! I was charged $10.11 and was overcharged because according to the Krystal’s website, wings are $.49 Saturday and Sunday. 12x .49 = $5.88. I tried to call to complain and the listed phone number is to the fax machine. Both times this has happened I was at work and could not return to have the order corrected. Horrendous food and incompetent staff = steer clear of this place. It’s a shame. They used to have good food. Maybe if bbq boy gets a job at the bbq shak, he can stop inflicting the stuff on us. They do not accept Apple Pay.
If your card doesn’t swipe properly, they refuse to enter the number in manually to pay for things.
So they just literally refuse your service.
I have used my card that does not swipe well for over a year around town in Gainesville at countless places.
A lot of places have a chip reader, which is something that’s been around for a decade.
Now, a lot of places have Apple Pay, which is something that has also become fairly common practice for many retailers and restaurants.
And there are a couple of places, that enter the number manually, because they have yet to upgrade to the 21st-century and installed chip readers.
But this particular restaurant refused to accept money and just shrugged when I asked what I should do.
I’m pretty sure there was a Manager there as well doing the same thing basically refusing to offer solutions or any kind of help at all or maybe even explaining why they haven’t upgraded the Restaurant’s payment system in decades
Just overall unhelpful, uncourteous staff and management.
Not to mention the fact that when you’re pulling into Krystal, you’re already truly scraping the bottom of the “I need something to eat right now” barrel.
