I'm not sure if this issue is the fault of the owner or the management company Vacasa (my guess is management, as they tend to be very corrupt). Be sure to look *VERY* closely when booking this place. I had a feeling the $64/night was too good to be true. Sure enough, when I attempted to book, they slapped a $193.20 cleaning fee for ONE night. Borderline bait and switch thing going on here. I'm spreading their shameful misrepresentation as far and wide as I can. Attached is a screenshot as proof of their ridiculous fee.

We came to the island for the Galveston Marathon, we had a big group and the Brammer’s house was perfect. The location was great and we really appreciated the parking space for our van. The house itself was clean and well appointed, Wi-Fi worked great and everything was as advertised. No hidden fees or crazy cleaning requirements. Kelly and Jeff were great hosts, they answered all of our questions promptly and patiently. We will definitely stay...

Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and activities. Jeff is an amazing host. The house is amazing and feels like home. Jeff has wagons, chairs, towels, etc for a day at the beach. Our kids absolutely loved the big back yard and we loved that it was fenced in. This house is amazing, next time we are in Galveston we know where we are staying. Thanks for a wonderful...
