Gulf Siesta Vacation Lofts — Hotel in Galveston

We have stayed in various AirBnB (and other) rentals over the past few years and this one ranks among the best. We came to Galveston for a mid-week "weekend" and chose this GulfSiesta location due to the pictures, description and location. Everything was as advertised. It is an attractive, clean, well apportioned apartment just a couple of blocks from the beach and several restaurants. Jonathan, our host, greeted us as we were moving our stuff in, and offered a couple of suggestions. He responded promptly when we had questions or requests. They took my money and then asked me to sign an additional “rental agreement” with ridiculous terms. When I asked for my money back they refused and were very rude and disrespectful about it. Make sure you ask for and read their contracts before giving them any money! They will scam you! Booked due to a funeral last minute. Host was rude and disrespectful. When I booked through Priceline with a flight and hotel together, there were four passengers, two adults, two children. Upon booking the apartment, only two adults were booked. After speaking to the host and explaining the mishap, he stated I should just leave the children behind. He would not accommodate us, and I even went as far as offering to pay an additional fee. However, he wanted double the rate.
