They give you more rice then sushi. The sushi is mediocre at best. I went there with family for the first time I tried the all you can eat sushi for $22.95, my order was taken the first time and then I had to take my order up myself or I wouldn't got any more food. They were under staff and couldn't keep the table clean in a timely manner. If you ask for anything special they wouldn't give such as extra sauce or even extra napkins. The soda machine was broke so all you could drink was either tea or water. They put so much rice on everything I ended up taking some off. So the last order of sushi I had I became full and couldn't finish it, I ended up eating the remaining amount of fish but couldn't finish all the rice. The server came over and told me he was going to charge me full price of another sushi roll if I couldn't eat the remaining rice which was about 2Tbl spoon worth I was like your kidding right he said no I must eat all the rice or pay a additional $10. I said for rice he said yes you must eat everything on your plate. My brother ate the remaining rice for me. I was shocked because I haven't been eating all my rice the whole time I was there. I will...
Read moreFriendly staff, Good food, Excellent location. You get a nice view of the river as it enters the Boardman Lake. It is a family business and while some times they can get a little backed up you never feel forgotten. The Sushi is really good, easily the best in town.
Some tool here gave them a one star for being charged for not eating all the rice on the all you can eat sushi. It clearly says on the menu, in BIG BOLD LETTERS "Order all you want but eat all you order, you will be charged for uneaten rice and sushi". Think about it.... It is all you can eat sushi not all you can eat sashimi. Also you can't expect to order a bunch of extra rolls and try and take them home to eat later. For $16.95 for all the sushi you can eat, that is an amazing deal.
I've been going there for 3 years. I've never once been charged for a reasonable small amount of...
Read moreI've been here twice, and I must say that the food is mediocre. For the record I don't eat sushi, and maybe that's the problem, add it tends to put more emphasis on that area of their menu. I've had both the pepper steak and the broccoli chicken. The steak had something of about it i can't explain, but it was not great. The broccoli chicken, the only part I liked was the broccoli, at least it wasn't mushy. But the chicken, and the accompanying sauce, was flavorless. There wasn't even any color to either the sauce of the chicken. And although color does not equal flavor, in terms of "Chinese" food it kind of does.
If you're looking to eat sushi there's a good chance you'll be satisfied. But if you plan to get something that is not on the sushi menu, I hope you have better...
